Elliott has been great since Jake Allen got hurt, posting a 1.77 GAA and .944 SV% in 13 starts. Tonight he faces a Lightning team that has won four of six.

Elliott is on fire right now but draws a rough matchup tonight in Florida. The Panthers enter playing having gone 6-1-1 while averaging 4.63 goals per game.

Elliott turned aside 38 of 39 shots in the Blues’ 4-1 win over the Wild on Saturday. Elliott has won two of his last three while posting a 1.35 GAA, .954 SV% and one shutout. He has gone 7-3-1 since Jake Allen went down with an injury and tonight he will make his 12th consecutive start. Tonight he’ll face a Jets team that has lost five of their last seven.

Vasilevskiy starts Monday in Ottawa.

Vasilevskiy stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout won over the Maple Leafs on January 27th. It was Vasilevskiy’s eighth win and first shutout of the season. He gets the nod tonight in Ottawa with Ben Bishop starting on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy has gone 4-3-0 with a 2.64 GAA and .912 SV% on the road this season.

Elliott stopped all 16 shots that he faced in the Blues shutout win over the Predators on Tuesday. With Jake Allen out, Elliott is expected to man the net for the foreseeable future. Elliott has gone 6-2-1 with a 1.77 GAA and .944 SV% in his last nine starts. Tonight he will face a Sharks team that has lost two of their last three, but have averaged 3.31 goals per game in 2016.

Elliott allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Blues loss in Chicago on January 24th. With Jake Allen out, Elliott went 5-2-3 with a 2.08 GAA and .937 SV% in January. He was lights out and will continue to start every game until Allen returns, which starts tonight in Nashville. Elliott is 5-4-3 with a 2.11 GAA and .929 SV% on the road this season.

Vasilevskiy starts Wednesday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Vasilevskiy stopped all four shots that he faced after replacing Ben Bishop in the Lightning’s loss in Florida on Saturday. Vasilevskiy has won his last four starts while posting a 2.71 GAA and .904 SV% and tonight he will face the Maple Leafs for the second time this season. He gave up four goals on 37 shots in a 5-4 OT win in the first meeting, but that was when Toronto could score.

Sheary was expected to be a healthy scratch on Saturday, but Chris Kunitz was a late scratch, so Sheary will be in the lineup vs. the Canucks. Sheary will likely skate on the top line with Sidney Crosby and Patric Hornqvist—he has two goals and one assist in 14 games this season.
