Elliott has won each of his two appearances since being re-called from his conditioning stint in the AHL. In his two wins he posted a 2.28 GAA and .929 SV%. Elliott is 0-2-0 with a 4.08 GAA and .854 SV% in two starts vs. the Red Wings this season.
Neither he nor Cooper had a timetable for a return.
Hedman is dealing with a lower-body injury that he suffered on Thursday. The Lightning called up Matt Taormina yesterday, so he will enter the lineup if Hedman does not play.
Elliott allowed one goal on 20 shots in a relief effort of the injured Jaroslav Halak. It was his first NHL action since March 5th, but he will start tomorrow. With Halak out, Elliott will need to play well if he doesn't want to lose starts to Jake Allen. He has a tough matchup tomorrow vs. the Blackhawks.
Elliott will start for the Rivermen on Friday against Oklahoma City and Saturday against Lake Erie before returning to the Blues following Saturday’s game. Hedman will not miss anytime because of an undisclosed upper-body injury. He will be in the lineup tonight when the Lightning take on the Maple Leafs. He has 14 points in 29 games this season.
Hedman (upper-body) is considered to be day-to-day according to the Lightning, but the fact that he is skating this morning would suggest he might play tonight vs. the Leafs. Monitor his status later this afternoon.

McDonagh will return to the Rangers blueline tonight after sitting out their last game. McDonagh has 32 points and was a +25 last season but has struggled to produce offensively this season. He only has two goals and three assists in 17 games this season. McDonagh will return to the Rangers top-pair with Daniel Girardi.
There is no timetable for McDonagh's return but the fact that he is skating is a positive sign. Monitor is status prior to tomorrow's game vs. Tampa Bay.
It doesn't look like McDonagh will be in the lineup for the Rangers tonight after injuring his face and head in Saturday's game. There is word that McDonagh may have suffered a concussion on the hit by Max Pacioretty, but the injury still remains undisclosed.
McDonagh had just started to heat-up offensively after a slow start to the season. Monitor his status in the next couple of days to see if he does have a concussion. This is a tough break for the Rangers who will be without both their top-2 defenceman.
Seabrook will return to the Hawks lineup Friday against the Sharks.
Seabrook is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and won't play tonight for the Canucks. The Hawks have not confirmed who will replace Seabrook in the lineup.
Halak was expected to miss the first 2 games this week so Elliott had a good chance to play well and earn himself some extra starts, however he allowed 9 goals in those 2 starts and lost both. He'll start tomorrow against the Ducks because Halak still isn't ready but Halak will take the #1 job back as soon as he is healthy.

Elliott struggled allowing 4 goals on 16 shots in his last start but still registered the win. He'll get the easier of the 2 games in the Blues upcoming back-to-back as he'll face the Blue Jackets and Halak will play the Red Wings.
