Pontus Holmberg has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Holmberg returns to the Maple Leafs where he has five goals, eight assists, 20 SOG, 12 PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 33 games this season. He was returned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL) over the all-star break to stay active and get a few games while the Maple Leafs were off.

Vasilevskiy allowed seven goals on 49 shots (.857 SV%) as he was peppered in his previous start, ending a three-game winning streak as he lost 7-1 to Florida. It has been another successful season for the goaltender who has led the NHL in wins the last five seasons, with his 23-13-1 record, 2.63 GAA, and .916 SV%. He draws the red-hot Carolina Hurricanes, who are in the middle of a five-game winning streak after their 4-1 victory over Boston last game.

Gourde missed the Krakens' previous game due to an undisclosed injury and will be good to go after being expected a game-time decision Wednesday as Seattle takes on the Vancouver Canucks.
