Mads Sogaard has been recalled from Belleville (AHL).

Sogaard has a 5-9-1 record, .901 SV% and 3.21 GAA in Belleville (AHL) and has been recalled for the first time this season to Ottawa. The 22-year-old previously played in two games in the NHL in 2021-22, posting a 1-1-0 record, 3.07 GAA and .889 SV%. He was a 2019 2nd-round pick (37th overall).

Vasilevskiy will start Thursday vs. the Bruins.

Vasilevskiy stopped 33 of 35 shots (.943 SV%) to snap a two-game winning streak as he beat Minnesota in his previous start. The 28-year-old has led the NHL in wins in each of the last five seasons and is on pace to compete for the crown again as he is 21-12-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .917 SV%. He runs into the juggernaut that is the Boston Bruins, who have won 10 of their last 11 games after a 4-2 win over Montreal last game.

Yanni Gourde will be back in the Kraken's lineup Wednesday after being a game-time decision (undisclosed).

Gourde missed the Krakens' previous game due to an undisclosed injury and will be good to go after being expected a game-time decision Wednesday as Seattle takes on the Vancouver Canucks. The 31-year-old has been having one of his best career seasons to date, with six goals, 24 assists, 78 SOG, 44 PIMs and a +16 plus/minus through 45 games prior to the injury.

Vasilevskiy allowed four goals on 39 shots (.897 SV%) for his second-straight loss as he was defeated by Calgary in his previous start. The 28-year-old wins leader for the last five-seasons has been solid yet again this year, with his 20-12-1 record, 2.55 GAA and .916 SV%. He will take on the Minnesota Wild, who are on a two-game losing streak after a 5-3 loss to Florida last game.

Vasilevskiy stopped 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) for his sixth win in seven starts as he beat St. Louis in his last start. The 28-year-old has been a force yet again this season, with his 19-10-1 record, 2.50 GAA and .917 SV%. He will be looking to stop the Seattle Kraken's impressive eight-game winning streak after they beat Chicago 8-5 last game.
