Vasilevskiy was the first goalie off of the ice at the Lightning morning skate.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Red Wings last Thursday. Vasilevskiy was given a night off on Saturday, so they’ll come back to him tonight in Florida. The 23-year-old rolls in on an eight-game winning streak and has posted a 2.20 GAA, .936 SV% and one shutout in 10 starts this season. He is already 1-1-0 with a 4.08 GAA and .905 SV% in two starts vs. Florida.

Elliott stopped 28 of the 30 shots that he faced in the Flyers’ 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday. Elliott’s first seven starts have brought mixed results, but there has been more good than bad so far. Overall, he is 5-2-0 with a 3.14 GAA and .885 SV% to start his Flyers career and should make for a good start against the winless Coyotes tonight.

Vasilevskiy stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Lightning’s 5-1 win in Carolina on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy is now riding an impressive seven-game winning streak and has posted a 1.71 GAA, .948 SV% and one shutout over that stretch. Tonight he will face the Red Wings for the second time this season—he stopped 29 of 31 shots in a 3-2 win in the first meeting.

Vasievskiy has been excellent this season, winning seven of his first eight starts (including six straight) while posting a 2.38 GAA, .933 SV% and one shutout. He will face a Carolina team that has started the season at 3-2-1 with 2.67 goals for per game.

Elliott stopped 23 of 24 shots in the Flyers’ win over Edmonton on Saturday. Despite Michal Neuvirth leading the NHL in SV%, the strong performance earned the 32-year-old netminder another start tonight. So far, he is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .936 SV% at the Wells Fargo Center and made 21 saves in a 3-2 overtime win in Anaheim on October 7th.

So far, he is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .936 SV% at the Wells Fargo Center and made 21 saves in a 3-2 overtime win in Anaheim on October 7th.

The Golden Knights recalled Maxime Lagace from Chicago (AHL).

With Malcolm Subban (lower-body) joining Marc-Andre Fleury (concussion) on IR, Lagace has been recalled to serve as Oscar Dansk’s backup going forward. The 24-year-old netminder has gone 2-2-0 with a 3.24 GAA and .888 SV% in four games with Chicago so far this season—he has never appeared in an NHL game.
