Vasilevskiy will start Tuesday vs. the Hurricanes.

Vasilevskiy surrendered six goals on 33 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Ottawa on Saturday. It was a rare rough outing for Vasilevskiy, who has lost two straight while allowing seven goals on 71 shots (.901 SV%). Despite a brief two-game winning streak, the 23-year-old remains a must-start regardless of matchup—he stopped 31 of 32 shots in a 5-1 win in Carolina in his first start vs. the Hurricanes.

Perry has been sidelined since December 11th with a knee injury but all signs point towards Perry playing tonight in Calgary. Perry was skating on the third line with Adam Henrique and Nick Ritchie at the morning skate, so expect him to be back in. Perry has six goals and 16 assists (22 points) in 31 games this season.

Vasilevskiy allowed on goal on 38 shots in the Lightning’s shootout loss in Montreal on Thursday. It was a rare loss for Vasilevskiy, who was still outstanding despite the end result. Vasilevskiy has gone 11-4-1 with a 1.63 GAA and .951 SV% on the road and already has one win over the hapless Senators this season.

Perry was taken to a local hospital to be evaluated after leaving Monday’s game with a lower-body injury.

The Ducks were unable to provide an update on Perry’s status postgame but they can’t seem to get out of their own way. The Ducks just got Ryan Getzlaf back yesterday and they played just 3:49 TOI together before Perry exited the game. Expect an update on Perry’s status prior to Thursday’s game in St. Louis.
