Pacioretty was in the morning skate, but will be a game-time decision tonight. With P.A Parenteau out with an upper-body injury, if Pacioretty isn’t available, the Canadiens could go with seven defensemen. Monitor Pacioretty’s status during pre-game warmups at 6:30 pm ET.
Pacioretty, who has been practicing with the team, will miss game 1, but it is possible that he returns to the lineup for game 2. With Pacioretty out, Devante Smith-Pelly and P.A Parenteau will skate on the second line with David Desharnais.
Pacioretty was cleared to take contact in Tuesday’s practice, but he did not participate in any contact drills. Coach Therrien said that he would be surprised if Pacioretty plays in Game 1, but they will see how he feels Wednesday.

Pacioretty will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury, but did return to the ice for nearly 30 minutes on Saturday. He did not skate with any pucks and only did cardio, but it is good news that Pacioretty was able to skate.
Jarnkrok is battling an illness and is questionable for the season finale on Saturday. An illness might force him out of just one game, but he should be ready for the playoffs.
Pacioretty was already ruled out of Thursday’s game, but he will be held out of Saturday’s game as well and be re-evaluated before the playoffs.
Pacioretty was injured early in Sunday’s game in Florida and he will miss at least one game. He will be held out of Thursday’s game and then will be re-evaluated prior to Saturday’s game in Toronto. Expect Brian Flynn to get back into the lineup with Pacioretty out.
Pacioretty left Sunday’s game with an apparent upper-body injury, but will travel back to Montreal with the team as planned. This is positive news, but with the Habs having just two games left in the regular season, they could hold him out of the lineup until the playoffs to ensure he is 100% for the postseason.

Tanev does not provide much in terms of offence or fantasy value, but he has been an outstanding defenseman for the Canucks this season. He was set to become a restricted free agent at the end of the season, but is now locked up through the 2019-20 NHL season.
Despite missing Friday's practice, Ekman-Larsson has not been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Devils. Monitor his status during tomorrow's morning skate.
Ekman-Larsson was stapled from behind by Joakim Nordstrom in the Coyotes loss to the Blackhawks on Thursday. It was late in the third period, but he left and did not return. His absence this afternoon makes him questionable for Saturday’s contest vs. the Devils.
Tanev has been out with a concussion since February 14th, but will be back in tonight vs. Anaheim. Tanev will play in his usual spot on the top-pair with Alex Edler. The 25-year-old has registered 15 points (2G / 13A) in 53 games this season.
Stolarz still has not played any NHL action during his call-up. With his return to the minors it suggests that Ray Emery will be back in the lineup on Tuesday.
McCabe played twice during his call-up, but his return to the minors suggests that Nikita Zadorov will get back into the lineup after being benched for the last two contests.
Stolarz served as Rob Zepp’s backup on Tuesday, but has been reassigned to Lehigh Valley, which means that Steve Mason will dress on Thursday.
Stolarz, 21, has gone 7-11-3 with a 3.17 GAA and .908 SV% with Lehigh Valley this season. He is unlikely to get into a game as he expected to serve as Rob Zepp’s backup for at least the next two games.
