Bobrovsky returned to the ice on Monday and skated again today, showing continuing progress in his return from a groin injury. He is nearly three weeks into a 4-6 week timeline, so you could potentially see Bobrovsky return by next weekend.

Tanev has missed the last two games, but was back at the Canucks morning skate on Monday. He will be paired with Alexander Edler if he returns to the lineup.

Stolarz, 21, was a second-round pick (45th overall) of the Flyers in 2012. He has gone 7-10-1 with a 3.04 GAA and .911 SV% in his rookie season with Lehigh Valley. He is likely not ready to play in the NHL, but with Steve Mason out at the NHL level and Rob Zepp out at the AHL level, the Flyers did not have a choice. He will back-up Ray Emery on Tuesday.

Bobrovsky, who has been out since January 21st, skated in full gear on Monday. He is 2 1/2 weeks into a 4-6 week timetable, so he is still a ways away, but it is a good sign that he is progressing and could return at the front-end of the original timeframe.

Tanev missed Thursday’s game with an undisclosed injury, but could be in the lineup tonight vs. the Penguins. If he re-enters the lineup, expect Yannick Weber to sit.

Tanev was not on the ice for the Canucks morning skate, so he must have suffered the injury on Tuesday vs. the Jets. The team did not specify too much information on Tanev’s status, so consider him day-to-day. He will replaced by Yannick Weber in the lineup tonight.

Bobrovsky was injured in the Blue Jackets final game before the All Star break and will miss at least one month with a groin injury. He has already missed time this season with a fractured finger and this latest injury is added to a growing list of injuries in Columbus this season.

This would only further add to the injury woes the Blue Jackets have had to deal with. Despite the Blue Jackets being extremely banged up all year long, Bobrovsky has managed to go 15-10-2 with a 2.75 GAA and .917 SV%. He is emerging as one of the NHL’s premier goaltenders and is now being paid like it. Bob was set to become a restricted free agent at the end of the season, but is now signed through the 2018-19 season.
