Pacioretty (lower body) was on the ice in a regular jersey at Monday's practice.

Pacioretty exited the Capitals' last game before the All-Star break with a lower-body injury, playing only 10:25 time-on-ice. The injury is unrelated to the Achilles injury responsible for him missing most of the last two seasons. As such, his return to the lineup appears imminent after returning to practice on Monday. Before his injury, Pacioretty registered four points (0G / 4A) in his last five games.

The 25-year-old will not be able to return yet this week but is taking a massive step forward in his recovery by returning to the ice. He will be looking to build off his strong start to the season when he does return and add on to his 8-5-1 record, 2.80 GAA, and .916 SV%.
