Johnson has been out since February 19th due to a concussion/illness but will return to the Blackhawks' lineup Saturday vs. Minnesota. The 24-year-old has four goals, two assists, 41 SOG, 36 PIMs and a -12 plus/minus through 46 games prior to the injury.

Benning missed the Sharks' previous game due to an undisclosed injury and will be a game-time decision Saturday vs. Calgary. The 28-year-old has a goal, 23 assists, 52 SOG, 26 PIMs and a -16 plus/minus through 69 games played prior to his injury.


Rielly has four goals, 32 assists, 109 SOG, 13 PIMs and a -5 plus/minus through 55 games this season but will take a rest Thursday as Toronto welcomes T.J. Brodie back into the lineup. It will be an 11-forward, seven-defenseman night for the Maple Leafs Thursday.


Roy has been out since February 21st due to a lower-body injury and has been activated from the injury reserve Thursday. The 26-year-old has 11 goals, 14 assists, 76 SOG, 20 PIMs and a +9 plus/minus through 54 games this season prior to his injury.

Carlo has three goals, 12 assists, 78 SOG, 27 PIMs and a +39 plus/minus but will be a healthy scratch Thursday vs. Montreal. He is replaced by Jakub Zboril in Boston's lineup.

Ekman-Larsson has not played since February 15th due to an ankle injury and will now miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season. It puts the lid on an otherwise forgettable season, where the 31-year-old had two goals, 22 points and a -24 plus/minus through 54 games prior to his injury.

McMann has an assist, 18 SOG, two PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 10 games this season but will now be forced to "miss some time" as he deals with a knee injury that he reaggravated from his time in the minors this season. It is unfortunate news for the 26-year-old, who is playing in his first NHL season.


Woll was 2-1-0 with a 2.04 GAA and .938 SV% with the Maple Leafs but has been loaned back to the Marlies (AHL) on Tuesday. The 24-year-old returns to the minors, where he had a 16-2-0 record, .928 SV% and 2.37 GAA prior to his latest call up.


It is unclear why Joseph Woll has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies (AHL) as Matt Murray was expected to start Saturday. Updates should be provided before warmups tonight. The 24-year-old returns to the Maple Leafs, where he was 2-1-0 with a 2.04 GAA and .938 SV%.

The 2020 seventh-round pick will join the Toronto Marlies for the remainder of the season on a professional tryout, so this contract doesn't kick in until 2023-24. Tverberg had 30 points (15G / 15A) in 35 games with the University of Connecticut this season.
