Stolarz surrendered six goals on 41 shots in the Flyers overtime loss in Calgary on Wednesday. Stolarz has been given an extended run as the Flyers’ No.1 but has gone 2-1-2 with a 3.80 GAA and .889 SV% in five starts and two relief appearances. Stolarz has made some big saves but he hasn’t been great, so look elsewhere on Friday night.

With Paul Stastny coming back into the Golden Knights lineup on Friday, Pacioretty may sit as the healthy scratch. “We’ve got to scratch somebody tonight and we’ll decide tonight. ... We’ll know before warmups,” head coach Gerard Gallant told reporters.

Murray was activated from IR and served as Casey DeSmith’s backup on Wednesday but is expected to start Friday vs. the Bruins. The 24-year-old has gone 1-5-0 with a horrifying 5.48 GAA and .823 SV% in six starts at the PPG Paints Arena this season. He has a good chance to get back on-track against a Kings team that is 4-10-1 on the road and last in the NHL in goal-scoring (2.15 GF/pg).

The 24-year-old has gone 1-5-0 with a horrifying 5.48 GAA and .823 SV% in six starts at the PPG Paints Arena this season. Things likely won’t get any easier against a Bruins team that has won three in a row but rank 27th in goal-scoring (2.71 GF/pg).

Stolarz allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Flyers loss in Winnipeg on Sunday. Stolarz has had a strange six games with the Flyers, allowing 2-4-2-4-2-4 goals. If this trend continues, Stolarz will allow just two goals tonight in Calgary but I wouldn’t hold your breath. The Flames have won nine of their last 12 games (9-2-1) while averaging 4.1 goals for per game.

Dahlstrom, 23, was a second-round pick in 2013 and has three assists in 11 career NHL games. Dahlstrom has likely been recalled as insurance for Wednesday’s game. Dahlstrom has eight points (1G / 7A) in 22 games with Rockford this season.

Murray has been out since November 17th but will be available to start or backup on Wednesday. Casey DeSmith has played very well since Murray got hurt, so Murray could be the Penguins No.2 netminder moving forward. The 24-year-old has gone 4-5-1 with a .877 SV% this season.

Stolarz allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Flyers loss to the Blue Jackets on Thursday. This afternoon he will make his fourth straight start, having gone 1-2-0 while allowing a combined 10 goals on 86 shots (.884 SV%) in his first three starts. He faces a Sabres team that has lost four in a row (0-2-2) since having their 10-game winning streak snapped on November 29th.

Stolarz made 30 saves on 32 shots in the Flyers win in Pittsburgh last Saturday. Despite very limited action since the start for the 2017 season, Stolarz has performed pretty well since being promoted from Lehigh Valley (AHL). The former second-round pick has stopped 83 of the 91 shots (.912 SV%) that he has faced in three appearances. Tonight he gets a Columbus team that is 8-5-1 on the road.

Pacioretty has been absolutely red-hot as of late, scoring eight goals with three assists (11 points) in his last eight games. Pacioretty is fighting a sickness and is officially listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game vs. the Capitals. Keep an eye on his status as the Golden Knights hit the ice for warmups at 9:30 pm.

Murray has been out since November 17th but was back on the ice before the Penguins hit the ice for practice. Murray’s original timetable was “longer-term” so it is unclear if he is on schedule in his recovery. Casey DeSmith has played pretty well in Murray’s absence, so expect the Penguins to be patient

With only a couple of minutes to spare, Nylander inked the much anticipated extension and could be back in the Maple Leafs lineup as soon as next week. Nylander adds to an already deep Maple Leafs top-9, where he figures to slot in next to Auston Matthews. A season ago, Nylander had 20 goals and 41 assists in 82 games.

Carlo has missed the last nine games with a shoulder injury but will be back tonight against the Red Wings. Carlo has two assists while averaging 20:57 TOI/gm in 16 games this season.

McCabe will come out of the lineup in the tail-end of a back-to-back because of an upper-body injury that he suffered in Tampa Bay last night. Lawrence Pilut will make his NHL debut in McCabe’s place.
