Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that the Canucks have assigned defenceman Chris Tanev to the AHL Chicago Wolves.
Tanev loses all of his immediate fantasy hockey value with this demotion.
Ekman-Larsson’s three goals in four games this season are tops in the NHL among defensemen and tied for fifth for all skaters.
Last season he scored a goal and 11 points through 48 games with the Coyotes. This should be a breakout campaign for the former 6th overall pick, grab him while you still can.
