Vanecek stopped 33 of 35 shots (.943 SV%) for his ninth-straight win as he defeated Dallas in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been incredible in his first season in New Jersey, with his 21-5-2 record, 2.29 GAA and .917 SV%. He will face the Vancouver Canucks, who have won two of their last three games and are 11th in the NHL in goals per game (3.31).

The Coyotes have assigned Dylan Guenther to Seattle (WHL).

Guenther has six goals, nine assists, 53 SOG, 10 PIMs and a -7 plus/minus through 33 games this season but will head back to junior hockey in Seattle (WHL) for the remained of the season. In Guenther's previous junior season in 2021-22 with the Edmonton Oil Kings, he had 45 goals and 91 points in 59 games played.

Stauber will start Thursday in Calgary.

Stauber stopped 29 of 32 shots (.906 SV%) for his first career win in his first career NHL game as he beat St. Louis in his previous start. The 23-year-old takes on the Calgary Flames, who have won their last two games but are still just 18th in the NHL in goals per game (3.13).

Crouse (upper-body) will likely be back in the Coyotes lineup on Thursday.

Crouse has not played since January 17th due to an upper-body injury but will likely be back in Arizona's lineup as they take St. Louis Thursday. The 25-year-old is on pace for his best career season to date, with his 16 goals, 11 assists, 82 SOG, and 22 PIMs across 43 games this season.

Vejmelka stopped 35 of 36 shots (.972 SV%) to snap an eight-game losing skid as he beat Vegas in his previous start. The 26-year-old has struggled as of late, which has led to his 12-17-4 record, 3.29 GAA and .904 SV%. He will hope to stay in the win column as he takes on St. Louis, who lost their last two games after a 5-3 defeat to Buffalo Tuesday night.

He will face the Vegas Golden Knights, who have lost four of their last five games but have the eighth best powerplay in the NHL.

Juuso Valimaki has signed a 1-year, $1 million contract extension with the Coyotes.

Valimaki was acquired earlier in the season off waivers from Calgary and has earned himself a 1-year, $1 million contract extension. The 24-year-old has two goals, 10 assists, 41 SOG, 20 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 43 games this season.

Kailer Yamamoto has been placed on the long-term injured reserve (undisclosed).

Yamamoto will be eligible to return on February 7th after being placed on the long-term injured reserve Tuesday with an undisclosed injury. The 24-year-old had four goals, eight assists, 40 SOG and a +7 plus/minus through 31 games prior to the injury.

Jaxson Stauber has been recalled from the Rockford IceHogs (AHL).

Stauber has a 6-4-0 record, .896 SV% and 3.06 GAA in 12 games with the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) but has been recalled by the Chicago Blackhawks Tuesday. He will replace Alex Stalock, who was placed in concussion protocol for the second time this season on Tuesday.

He takes on the San Jose Sharks who have lost four of their last five games after a 7-1 loss vs. Edmonton last game.
