Vanecek allowed two goals on 24 shots (.917 SV%) to snap a 10-game winning streak as he was defeated in overtime by Minnesota last start. The 27-year-old has more than paid off his offseason signing, with his 22-5-3 record, 2.32 GAA and .916 SV%. He draws the Columbus Blue Jackets, who snapped a four-game losing skid with a 4-3 victory over Toronto last game and rank 30th in the NHL in goals per game (2.53).

Stauber stopped 23 of 26 shots (.885 SV%) for his third-straight win as he beat the Arizona Coyotes in his previous start. The 23-year-old has been electric through his first three starts, with a perfect 3-0-0 record, a 2.29 GAA and .925 SV%. He takes on the Montreal Canadiens, who have won their last two games but are 29th in goals per game (2.64) and 30th in shots per game (27.9).

Vejmelka allowed six goals on 37 shots (.838 SV%) as he snapped a three-game winning streak with a loss vs. St. Louis his last time out. The 26-year-old has held strong nightly despite having minimal offensive help, leading to his 14-17-5 record, 3.24 GAA and .906 SV%. He takes on the Nashville Predators, who have won four of their last five games after a 2-1 overtime victory over Philadelphia last game.

The 23-year-old has been great in his limited action with Chicago, with his 2-0-0 record, 2.00 GAA and .940 SV%. They take on the Arizona Coyotes, who won their last game 3-2 over Minnesota but are last in the NHL in shots per game (25.9).

He takes on the St. Louis Blues, who have lost their previous five games in a row after a 4-2 loss to Winnipeg last game.

O'Brien hasn't played since Dec. 16th due to a hand injury but is expected to return to the Coyotes' lineup Friday vs. Chicago. The 28-year-old had one goal, four assists, 16 SOG, and 40 PIMs across 28 games prior to the injury.

Marino hasn't played since December 20th due to an upper-body injury but will return to the Devils' lineup Monday vs. Vancouver. The 25-year-old defenseman has been great in his first season in New Jersey and will make a welcome return with three goals, six assists, 42 SOG and +11 plus/minus through 32 games prior to the injury.

The 27-year-old has been incredible in his first season in New Jersey, with his 21-5-2 record, 2.29 GAA and .917 SV%. He will face the Vancouver Canucks, who have won two of their last three games and are 11th in the NHL in goals per game (3.31).

Vejmelka was perfect, stopping 33 of 33 St. Louis shots for his third shutout of the season as he beat the Blues in his previous start. The 26-year-old has impressively managed to keep the low-scoring Coyotes in most games this season leading to his 13-17-4 record, 3.19 GAA and .907 SV%. He draws the Minnesota Wild, who have won their last two games 3-2 and are 19th in the NHL in both goals for (3.06) and shots on goal per game (31.2).

The Coyotes have assigned Dylan Guenther to Seattle (WHL).

Guenther has six goals, nine assists, 53 SOG, 10 PIMs and a -7 plus/minus through 33 games this season but will head back to junior hockey in Seattle (WHL) for the remained of the season. In Guenther's previous junior season in 2021-22 with the Edmonton Oil Kings, he had 45 goals and 91 points in 59 games played.
