Maatta is not expected to be in the lineup in Minnesota on Monday. Look for Jamie Oleksiak to draw back into the lineup for Maatta.


Kerfoot will be replaced by AJ Greer, who was recalled from the AHL. Kerfoot has had a solid season and should be considered questionable for Colorado’s back-to-back on Friday and Saturday.

Carcone, 22, was an undrafted free agent who was in his third season with Utica (AHL). Carcone was fourth among Comets in points, picking up 17 points (6G / 11A) in 20 games this season. He will report to the Toronto Marlies (AHL), clearing a roster spot for William Nylander.


Ingram, 21, was a third-round pick in 2016 and has gone 7-3-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .918 SV% in 10 games with the Crunch. Ingram comes up so that he can backup Louis Domingue while Ed Pasquale heads back down to get some games in.

Valimaki missed Sunday’s game in Arizona and is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks with a lower-body injury. With Valimaki and Michael Stone out, Oliver Kylington is expected to remain in the Flames lineup moving forward.

Schmaltz was traded to Arizona on Sunday night and will make his debut in Minnesota on Tuesday. Schmaltz, who broke out in 2017-18 has just 11 points (2G / 9A) in 23 games this season. The 22-year-old is expected to take on a much larger role in Arizona, starting tonight when he skates on the top line with Alex Galchenyuk and Clayton Keller.



The Golden Knights struggled without Schmidt, going 8-11-1 during his 20-game suspension. The 27-year-old is coming off of a career-year, having scored five goals with 31 assists (36 points) in 76 games. He will likely replace Jon Merrill and play huge minutes on the Vegas top pair on Sunday.


Yamamoto has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but is expected to replace Jesse Puljujarvi in the lineup on Tuesday. Yamamoto has just one goal, one assist and 12 shots on goal in 11 games this season.

Connauton missed the last two games with an illness, but is expected to return to the Coyotes lineup on Monday. Connauton has two assists and 24 shots in 10 goals this season.

Connauton has missed the last two games with flu-like symptoms, but is expected to play Monday vs. the Flyers. Connauton has actually had a decent start to the season, picking up two assists, a plus-8 rating and 24 shots on goal in his first 10 contests.

Connauton missed Tuesday’s game vs. the Senators and will be a game-time decision tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Connauton has two assists, a plus-8 rating and 24 shots in 10 games this season.

Yamamoto had been skating on the Oilers’ first line, but will be a healthy scratch vs. the Blackhawks. Drake Caggiula will replace him on the first line and Jesse Puljujarvi will draw-in on the third line.
