There’s no word on what happened to Schmidt but his status for Friday’s game appears to be in question, according to head coach Gerrard Gallant. The Golden Knights have also lost Luca Sbisa, who will be sidelined long-term with an undisclosed injury of his own.


Weegar has been a healthy scratch for the lsat three games, but he will replace Ian McCoshen tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Weegar has not done much offensively this season, scoring just one goal with four assists while averaging 14:12 TOI/GM in 37 contests.


Cole was acquired in the Derick Brassard trade but was always expected to be flipped before the trade deadline. Tanev is dealing with an upper-body injury and is not going to play Tuesday and could miss a couple of weeks. There’s no word when Tanev suffered the injury but a call-up from Manitoba (AHL) is likely to be announced before tomorrow’s game.


Sergachev was a healthy scratch for the last two games but based on the morning skate he should re-enter the lineup on Tuesday and play with Anton Stralman. He might be back on the second power-play unit as well as it looks like Victor Hedman will also be back in the lineup and take his spot back on the top unit.





Crouse was in the lineup for the last four games, but after claiming Freddie Hamilton off of waivers, the Coyotes send Crouse to Tucson so he can play. The 20-year-old forward has 10 points (3G / 7A) in 17 games with the Roadrunners.
