The Canucks followed up a four-game winning streak by being outscored 11-5 in their last two (0-2-0), and will turn to Lankinen on Monday in the front end of a back-to-back. The 30-year-old Lankinen has only played one in the last three weeks, but was solid in the outing, saving 39 of 44 shots (.907 SV%) in a 5-4 shootout win over the Boston Bruins. Demko will start in Philadelphia on Monday.

The Canucks are on a surprising four-game winning streak since trading away their captain, Quinn Hughes, and will look to extend that on Monday, turning to Demko between the pipes against the Philadelphia Flyers. Recently returned from a four-week absence due to a lower-body injury, it was widely believed that the Canucks might ease the injury-prone Demko back into the crease, but he will tend the twine for the fifth time in six games since returning. The 30-year-old Demko has been near-perfect lately, posting a 0.75 GAA and .972 SV% in his last three games (3-0-0). The Canucks enter Monday's contest as +118 road underdogs against a Flyers team that has lost five of its last six (1-1-4).

Pettersson has not played since December 5th and remains day-to-day, likely to miss a sixth straight game on Friday against the New York Islanders. The 27-year-old Pettersson has 22 points (8G / 14A) in 28 games this season, but was held off the scoresheet in three straight before his injury.

Demko will start on Long Island on Friday.

Recently returned from a four-week absence due to a lower-body injury, it was widely believed that the Canucks might ease the injury-prone Demko back into the crease, but he will tend the twine for a fourth straight game on Friday. The Canucks played poorly in Demko's absence, so it has been difficult for them to part with his services, given his excellent 1.35 GAA and .938 SV% in three games (2-1-0) since returning. He is coming off his first shutout of the season, a 23-save performance in a 3-0 win over the New York Rangers.

Demko will start in New York on Tuesday.

Recently returned from a four-week absence due to a lower-body injury, it was widely believed that the Canucks might ease the injury-prone Demko back into the crease, but he will tend the twine for a third straight game on Tuesday. The 30-year-old Demko was solid in his most recent outing, saving 25 of 26 shots (.962 SV%) in a 2-1 win over the New Jersey Devils. Sasson's extension means he will no longer become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season. The 25-year-old forward has appeared in 29 games for the Canucks this season, logging six goals and two assists while featuring primarily in Vancouver's bottom-six.
