Pettersson (D) will draw back into Vancouver's lineup on Wednesday vs. Anaheim.

Pettersson did not play the previous game for the Canucks but will re-enter the lineup on Wednesday against the Anaheim Ducks, replacing an injured Quinn Hughes (undisclosed). The 21-year-old Pettersson is averaging 12:23 time-on-ice and has one point (0G / 1A) in 10 games this season.

Elias Nils Pettersson
Hughes (undisclosed) will not play on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Hughes played the previous three games after missing nearly a month due to a lower-body injury but will return to the sidelines. The 25-year-old Hughes has been having another season worthy of a Norris trophy, scoring 60 points (14G / 46A) in 50 games. That said, his inability to remain in the lineup lately causes notable concern for a Canucks team desperately trying to stay in the mix for a playoff spot.
