Forbort has not played an NHL game since March 2nd and has been recalled from the Providence Bruins (AHL). The 32-year-old Forbort was limited to only 35 games with Boston this season, registering four points (0G / 4A), 66 hits, and 65 blocks.
Kane revealed on Sunday that he's been dealing with a sports hernia this season and they decided it was best to rest him for the final three games of the regular season. Kane skated on the fourth line in Sunday's practice, so expect him to play a minimal role to begin the series vs. Los Angeles.

Thompson was the 93rd overall pick of Tampa Bay in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and has 41 points (6G / 35A) in 62 AHL games this season between the Syracuse Crunch and the San Jose Barracuda.
With three games remaining in the regular season, Kane will get the night off for maintenance against the San Jose Sharks on Monday. Kane has been effective lately, scoring five points (3G / 2A) in his last five games.

Chytil suffered a setback in his initial attempt to return from an upper-body injury in late January after going down at practice and was ruled out for the remainder of the 2023-24 season. Ohgren will make his NHL debut on Friday in Vegas after appearing in three games for Iowa (AHL) after a full season in the Swedish Elite League with Farjestad BK. The 20-year-old left-winger is Minnesota's 2022 first-round pick (20th overall) and had an impressive 12 goals and 19 points in 26 games with Farjestad BK before being sent to North America.
