Demko, a California native, will look to record consecutive victories for the first time in three weeks as the Canucks are sizeable -265 home favourites against a Ducks team that has lost six straight (0-6-0) and been held to fewer than three goals in all but one of those contests.

Chytil has been placed on long-term injured reserve, retroactive to November 3rd, in a series of moves by the Rangers designed to create cap space for Adam Fox to return to the lineup on Wednesday. The 24-year-old Chytil was previously centring the Rangers' second line and had six assists, 22 SOG, and four PIMs in 10 games prior to the injury.

The 24-year-old right-winger returns to the AHL where he was dominant prior to his recall, with four goals, 16 points, eight PIMs and a +7 plus/minus in 11 games.
