Lukas Reichel is expected to draw back into the Blackhawks' lineup Tuesday vs. Nashville.

Reichel was a healthy scratch in the Blackhawks' 4-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Sunday but will return to the lineup to skate on a line with Ryan Donato and Mackenzie Entwistle. The 17th overall pick of the Blackhawks in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft has struggled to find his footing this season, scoring only six points (2G / 4A) and registering a -17 plus/minus through 22 games.

Pierre-Olivier Joseph (lower body) has been reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) for conditioning purposes.

Joseph has not played since November 4th, recovering from a lower-body injury, and has only played five total games this season. As a result, he has been reassigned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL for a conditioning stint and will presumably be recalled in the near future.

Thatcher Demko will start Thursday vs. Vegas.

Demko has started five of the last six games for the Canucks and will start again on Thursday as he looks for his third straight win. Demo was stellar on Tuesday, saving 30 of 31 shots (.968 SV%) in a 3-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks and has saved 53 of 55 (.964 SV%) over his last two games (2-0-0). The Canucks have won three of their last five (3-2-0) and are -124 home favourites against a Vegas Golden Knights team that has been held to one or fewer goals in two of their last three games (0-1-2).

Pierre-Olivier Joseph (lower body) was in a normal practice jersey at Wednesday's team skate.

Joseph has not played since November 4th due to a lower-body injury but appears to be on the verge of a return to the lineup after being a full participant at the Penguins' practice on Wednesday. Before his injury, Joseph had one point (0G / 1A) in five games, averaging 13:05 time-on-ice, playing predominantly with Chad Ruhwedel on the Penguins' third defensive pairing.

Linus Karlsson has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).

Karlsson made his NHL debut with the Canucks on November 16 and could be an option to draw back into their lineup after being recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) on Wednesday. In 17 games with Abbotsford, Karlsson has 15 points (3G / 12A) and a +5 plus/minus rating.

Demko will start against the Ducks on Tuesday.

Demko will return to the crease on Tuesday when the Canucks welcome the Anaheim Ducks to Vancouver. Demko has been slightly inconsistent over the past several weeks (4-3-0), following up each victory with a sub.-900 SV% loss. Demko, a California native, will look to record consecutive victories for the first time in three weeks as the Canucks are sizeable -265 home favourites against a Ducks team that has lost six straight (0-6-0) and been held to fewer than three goals in all but one of those contests.

Filip Chytil (upper body) has been placed on the long-term injured reserve retroactive to November 3rd.

Chytil has been placed on long-term injured reserve, retroactive to November 3rd, in a series of moves by the Rangers designed to create cap space for Adam Fox to return to the lineup on Wednesday. The 24-year-old Chytil was previously centring the Rangers' second line and had six assists, 22 SOG, and four PIMs in 10 games prior to the injury.

Demko will start in Seattle on Friday.

Demko is the starter for the Canucks on Friday on the front end of a back-to-back. The Canucks have lost three of four (1-3-0), being outscored 15-10, after a stretch that saw them collect a point in 11 of 12 games (10-1-1). Demko has struggled lately, allowing 17 goals in his last five games (2-3-0), posting a .872 SV%, including a loss to the Seattle Kraken last week when he allowed four goals on 26 shots (.846 SV%). That said, the Canucks are slight -107 road favourites against the Kraken, who have collected a point in five straight games (3-0-2).

Demko will start in Colorado on Wednesday.

Demko will unsurprisingly get the nod in Colorado for the Canucks on Wednesday. The 27-year-old netminder has been an integral part of the Canucks' early season success. He most recently turned away 27 of the 28 shots he faced in Monday's 3-1 victory over the Kraken. Demko owns an impressive 9-4-0 record on the season to go along with a .929 SV% and 2.12 GAA. He draws a tough assignment on Wednesday with the Canucks being +135 road underdogs to the Avalanche.

Demko is the starter for the Canucks on Monday against the San Jose Sharks. After an astonishing start to the season, posting a .948 SV% along with two shutouts in his first nine games (7-2-0), Demko has fallen back to Earth hard, allowing 12 goals on 81 shots (.852 SV%) in his past three contests (1-2-0).
