Kane took part in Wednesday’s practice but will not be available for the third consecutive game due to an upper-body injury that he suffered in Boston. Kane remains day-to-day and seems like he will be available for Saturday’s game vs. St. Louis.
Kampf (right foot) has been activated from IR and will play on Thursday.
Kampf has missed the last 12 games with a right foot injury but will play tonight vs. the Sabres. Kampf, who has three goals and 13 assists (16 points) in 50 games this season, will centre the fourth line with Chris Kunitz and Marcus Kruger.
Kane (undisclosed) is questionable to play on Thursday.
Kane has missed the last two games with an undisclosed injury and remains questionable to play Thursday despite skating on Wednesday. Kane did skate with Tomas Hertl and Gustav Nyqust in practice, which suggests there’s a chance that he plays vs. the Canadiens.
The Canucks have recalled Guillaume Brisebois from Utica (AHL).
Brisebois has spent most of the season with Utica, where he has three goals and eight assists in 49 games on their blueline. The 21-year-old could play his third career game on Wednesday with Ben Hutton battling a foot injury.

Blueger has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) on an emergency basis.
The Coyotes signed Garland to a two-year contract extension. The deal will keep Garland with the Coyotes through the 2020-2021 season.
Line Change
Chytil will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday.
Chytil has no recorded a point and is a minus-1 in each of his last three games and will be replaced by the newly acquired Brendan Lemieux on Wednesday.
The Canucks have acquired Linus Karlsson from the Sharks for Jonathan Dahlen.
Karlsson, 19, was a third-round pick (No.87 overall) in last summer’s draft. Karlsson has four goals and 13 assists (17 points) with Karlskrona HK in Sweden.
Line Change
Hronek will draw into the Red Wings lineup on Sunday.
The Red Wings have recalled Filip Hronek from Grand Rapids (AHL).
Hronek has split his 2019 season between the AHL and NHL, amassing 10 points (3G / 7A) in 23 games with the Red Wings and 23 points (7G / 16A) in 28 games with the Griffins. Hronek has the look of a future star in Detroit but it remains to be seen if he will be in the lineup on Saturday afternoon.
Brisebois will make his NHL debut on Thursday.
The Blackhawks have placed David Kampf (foot) on IR.
Kampf is expected to miss at least 2-3 more weeks, so he was moved to IR to open up a roster spot. Expect Dylan Sikura to remain with the Blackhawks while Kampf is out.
The Blues have signed Mackenzie MacEachern to a one-year extension worth $750K.
Demko has a “slight sprain” and will miss the next 10 days.
Demko was dinged up in warmups on Tuesday and will miss at least 10 days with a minor sprain. Look for the Canucks to continue to lean on Jacob Markstrom while Demko is sidelined.

Kampf was forced to leave Tuesday’s game in Edmonton with a foot injury and will miss at least three weeks. Brendan Perlini figures to draw back into the lineup to replace Kampf on Thursday.
