Kane is out until after the Olympics with an infection in his hand.

This is a terrible break for the Jets. Kane has been in and out of the lineup with injuries all season. In four games since returning from his hand injury he had four points (1G / 3A). He has totalled 29 points (15G / 14A) in 42 games this season.

Kane (hand) is on the ice for Jets' practice.

Kane has missed the last four games with a hand injury, but his presence at practice is a good sign that he should be ready to go on Tuesday in Anaheim, barring a setback. Since returning from his lower-body injury on December 16, Kane has recorded seven goals and four assists (11 points) in 12 games. Monitor his status leading up to Tuesday.

The Jets have placed Evander Kane (hand) on injured reserve retroactive to January 7.

Kane will miss his third straight game tonight, but will be eligible to come off of IR as soon as he is healthy. It doesn't sound like Kane is making too much progress, but continue to monitor his status heading into Saturday's game. His placement on IR allowed the Jets to recall Carl Klingberg.

Kane (hand) is doubtful for Saturday's game.

Kane missed practice for the second straight day and is unlikely to play tomorrow vs. the Blue Jackets. This is a tough break for Kane owners who have enjoyed seven goals and four assists (11 points) in his last 12 games since returning from a lower-body injury. If he is unable to play, Eric O'Dell is expected to take his spot on the Jets' second line. Monitor his status following the morning skate.

Myers will have a discipline phone hearing tomorrow after delivering an illegal check to the head of Dainius Zubrus on Saturday.

The Sabres have three games this week, so monitor Myers status on Monday before finalizing your lineups in weekly leagues. With a phone hearing he is not expected to be given a lengthy suspension, but as a repeat offender he will likely get at least one game.

Kane will return to the Jets lineup tonight after missing the last six games with a lower-body injury.

”I’m back in and ready to go,” Kane said. He is expected to skate on a like with Mark Scheifele and Michael Frolik when the Jets take on the Blue Jackets tonight. Kane has seven goals and seven assists in 26 games.

Kane (lower-body) is taking line rushes this morning, suggesting he will return to the lineup tonight.

Kane missed the last six games after suffering a lower-body injury in an afternoon game on November 29. He will skate on a line with Mark Scheifele and Michael Frolik. Kane has struggled a bit this season posting just 14 points (7G / 7A) in 26 games.

Kane (lower-body) has not skated since last week and is now considered "more than day-to-day".

It sounds like Kane will miss his fifth consecutive game on Thursday and is doubtful to play on Saturday. What was originally believed to be a minor injury, continues to cost Kane games. Keep an eye on when he begins skating again.

Myers left Tuesday's contest in OT after taking a puck to the face.

There is no word on how severe the injury to Myers is, but there should be a detailed injury report released in the next few days. For now consider the towering defenseman day-to-day. He has struggled with just two goals and eight points with a minus-13 rating in 31 games.

Kane (lower-body) will not play Tuesday against the St. Louis Blues.

Kane will miss his fourth consecutive game as he continues to nurse a lower-body injury that he suffered on November 29 in Philadelphia. Jets head coach Claude Noel said that Kane remains day-to-day so monitor his status leading up to Thursday's tilt with the Avalanche.
