Howden is in his fourth season with Vegas and will remain a Golden Knight for five more season after signing a five-year, $12.5 million contract extension ($2,500,000 AAV) on Friday. The 26-year-old is in his seventh NHL season and is having his most productive career year to date, on pace for 33 goals after scoring eight in his first 20 games to start 2024-25.

Hagg fills in for Alex Pietrangelo, who was a surprise scratch due to a lower-body injury. It's Hagg's first NHL action since he went pointless in five games with the Ducks last season.

Pietrangelo was a surprise scratch on Thursday with his absence not being announced prior to warmups. Robert Hagg will draw into the lineup in his place.

Hagg is no stranger to the NHL, with 343 games of NHL experience, but has primarily played in the AHL the past two seasons. He has eight points (1G / 7A) in 14 games with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL). Hagg's call-up may just be precautionary as Alex Pietrangelo and Shea Theodore are both reportedly banged up.

After a 5-2 loss to the Washington Capitals with Ilya Samsonov in net, the Golden Knights will revert to Hill on Wednesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 28-year-old Hill has an unspectacular 3.16 GAA and .885 SV% in 12 games (8-3-1) but has won two straight, posting an impressive .929 SV%. The Golden Knights enter the action on Wednesday as +110 road underdogs against a Maple Leafs club still without Auston Matthews (upper body).

Hutton played only 2:40 time-on-ice in the Golden Knights' previous game and will be out of the lineup week-to-week due to an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old Hutton has been limited to only five games this season, tallying zero points, five blocks, and three hits.

Stone has missed five straight due to a lower-body injury and, despite being placed on Injured Reserve, is eligible to return at any time. Before his injury, the 32-year-old Stone was off to a monstrous start to the 2024-25 season, among the league leaders, with 21 points (6G / 15A) in 13 games.

For the sixth straight game, the Golden Knights will turn to Hill between the pipes. The 28-year-old Hill has had an up-and-down season, posting a lackadaisical 3.27 GAA and .879 SV% in 11 games (7-3-1), but was solid in his previous outing, saving 22 of 24 shots (.917 SV%) in a 3-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks. The Golden Knights enter the action on Friday as -121 road favorites against the Utah Hockey Club, fresh off an impressive 4-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

After a solid start to the 2024-25 season, recording two points (1G / 1A), 36 blocks, 28 hits, and a +11 plus/minus through 16 games, McNabb has been rewarded with a three-year, $10.95 million contract extension. The 33-year-old McNabb is in his 13th NHL season, spending the previous eight with the Golden Knights.

Schmid entered a contest in relief of Adin Hill last week, saving all 12 shots he faced, but otherwise saw no action while filling in for an injured Ilya Samsonov for the Golden Knights. The 24-year-old Schmid will return to the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL), where he has a 3.56 GAA and .885 SV% in six games (1-5-0).

Korczak immediately exits the lineup after drawing back in for Monday's game against the Hurricanes. Ben Hutton will take his spot in the Golden Knights' lineup.

Hutton re-enters the lineup after sitting out Monday's game against the Hurricanes. Kaedan Korczak will sit in his place.

Hill will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing start against the Hurricanes on Monday. He allowed four goals on 21 shots before being pulled midway through the second period as the Golden Knights suffered a 5-2 defeat. Hill has managed a 6-3-1 record on the season despite posting just an .875 SV%. Luckily for Hill, he's got a great chance of getting back in the win column on Wednesday with Vegas entering action as huge favourites at -225.

Rondbjerg returns to the AHL after just two games with the Golden Knights where he registered 0 points and a -1 rating. Grigori Denisenko was recalled in a corresponding move.

Hutton will take a seat on Monday after playing in each of the last two games. Kaedan Korczak will draw into the lineup in Hutton's place.

Korczak will make his first appearance since October 30th. He'll take the place of Ben Hutton, who is a healthy scratch. Korczak has zero goals and two assists in four games this season.
