Hagg signed a one-year, $775,000 deal with Anaheim in the offseason and has been recalled from San Deigo (AHL) for the first time this season. The 28-year-old is entering his eighth NHL season with his fifth team after putting up two goals, five assists, 26 PIMs, 40 SOG and a -5 plus/minus in 38 games with Detroit in 2022-23.

He was even able to wrestle some starts away from starter Vitek Vanecek in the post-season, and could continue to see his usage grow if he's able to maintain the excellent form he's shown to date.
