Kolesar was originally drafted in the third round by the Blue Jackets in 2015 and will get a chance to make his NHL debut vs. the team that drafted him on Saturday. The 22-year-old has 10 points (2G / 8A) in 24 AHL games this season.

Lehner allowed six goals on 36 shots in the Blackhawks loss in Vancouver on January 2nd. He ended up missing the next two games with a knee injury but was the backup on Thursday and will start his 24th game of the season tonight. Lehner was terrific in his first game vs. the Ducks, stopped 36 of 38 shots in a 3-2 overtime win in early-November.

Hill stopped 37 of 39 shots in the Coyotes win in Florida on Tuesday. Hill's first start of the season couldn't have gone better but he'll be in tough in Tampa Bay on Thursday. He has stopped 47 of 51 shots (.922 SV%) in his two appearances this season and will face a Lightning team that has won eight in a row while averaging 4.75 goals per game.

Lehner missed the last two games with a knee injury but declared himself good-to-go following Wednesday's practice. Kevin Lankinen was assigned to the AHL this afternoon, clearing the way for Lehner to at least be available to backup Corey Crawford.

Hill gave up two goals on 12 shots in relief of Antti Raanta in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Flyers. With both Raanta and Darcy Kuemper dealing with injuries, Hill becomes the Coyotes' temporary No.1 netminder and comes in at 8-8-0 with a 2.89 GAA and .901 SV% in 19 career NHL appearances. He was 9-3-0 with a 2.77 GAA and .907 SV% in 12 AHL games at the time that he was called-up.

Lehner missed Saturday's practice and is listed as day-to-day. Kevin Lankinen was recalled from the AHL to serve as Corey Crawford's backup while Lehner is sidelined.

Lehner allowed three goals on 44 shots in the Blackhawks win in Calgary on Tuesday. Lehner has been hot since the Christmas break, winning three in a row while stopping 110 of the 117 shots (.940 SV%) that he has faced. On the season, Lehner has gone 7-4-1 with a 2.83 GAA and .926 SV% on the road.


Lauzon played one game (15:40 TOI) during his call-up but heads back to the AHL with Torey Krug and likely Charlie McAvoy back in the lineup tonight.

Lehner gave up two goals on 33 shots in the Blackhawks win in Columbus on Sunday. In his last six appearances (five starts), Lehner has gone 5-0-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .927 SV%. He'll look to stay hot Tuesday against a Calgary team that is in a slump right now. The Flames have lost five of their last seven (2-4-1) while averaging 2.29 goals per game.

Lauzon has spent the entire 2019-20 season in the AHL, amassing 10 points (1G / 9A) in 35 games. Lauzon comes up with Charlie McAvoy going on IR and could make his season debut on Tuesday. The 22-year-old, former second-round pick (2015) had one goal in 16 games with the Bruins last year.


Sissons was hurt last night vs. the Penguins and was spotted leaving Bridgestone Arena with a protective boot on his right leg. Sissons move to IR means he will miss at least one week, meaning he'll miss the Winter Classic. Yakov Trenin was called up to take Sissons' roster spot.

Lehner gave up three goals on 24 shots after taking over for Corey Crawford in the Blackhawks' 7-1 loss to the Devils on Monday. Prior to that, Lehner had won three in a row and gets an opportunity to face his former team tonight at the United Center. Lehner has gone 4-2-3 with a 2.80 GAA and .924 SV% in 10 home games this season.


Saad was hurt in Winnipeg on December 19th and will be out until mid-January with an ankle injury. With Saad out, head coach Jeremy Colliton has already tried Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane together for a period of time, so that's something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

Saad was forced to leave Thursday's game in Winnipeg after suffering an ankle injury on a hit by Luca Sbisa. With Saad out, Dylan Sikura will draw back into the Blackhawks lineup on Saturday.


Barbashev missed the last two games with an upper-body issue but will play Saturday in San Jose. Barbashev has five goals and 10 assists (15 points) in 34 games this season.
