Lehner stopped 33 of 36 shots in a losing effort to the Senators on Thursday. It’s been a rough stretch for Lehner, who has just one win in his last six starts. He’ll be in tough to turn it around this afternoon against the Kings.


Brent Burns is expected to move up to forward tonight and play on the top line alongside Pavelski and Meier. Meier is expected to take Hertl's spot on the top powerplay unit. Hertl should be considered day-to-day at this time

Lehner had a rough start on Sunday vs. the Avalanche, allowing five goals on just 27 shots (.815 SV%). He was benched in favour of Chad Johnson on Tuesday, who normally only plays on back-to-backs. Tonight’s matchup against the Senators provides a nice opportunity for a bounceback game for Lehner, who has just one win in his last five starts.




Stone will be back in the lineup for the first time since January 20th, coincidentally enough that game was against the Maple Leafs as well. Stone has had a nice season, picking up 44 points (18G / 26A) in 44 games this year but he has also dominated Toronto, scoring two goals with three assists in three games.


Stone will miss his ninth consecutive game with a knee injury despite talking about potentially retuning tonight vs. the Predators. Monitor his status heading into Saturday’s game in Toronto.

Lehner allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Sabres loss to the Ducks on Tuesday. Lehner has now lost three straight while allowing seven goals on 93 shots (.925 SV%). Lehner has had a tough campaign and has gone 0-1-1 with a 4.78 GAA and .860 SV% in his first two starts against the Islanders this season.

Stone has missed the last eight games but it looks like he could return tomorrow vs. the Predators. Stone’s return would be a huge boost to the Senators as he still leads the team in points (44) despite missing 2.5 weeks.

Hutton has been scratched for the last two games but will return tonight in Florida. Hutton has just six assists in 45 games this season. He will replace Derrick Pouliot on the blueline.

Stone was on the ice this morning but told reporters he won’t play vs. New Jersey but he has not ruled out a possible return on Thursday. This will be the eighth consecutive game that Stone has missed—the Senators are 2-5-0 without him during that time.

Lehner allowed one goal on 33 shots but was stuck with the loss vs. the Blues on Saturday. Lehner has played extremely well in his last four starts, going 2-2-0 while allowing just three goals on 123 shots (.976 SV%). He will look to keep things rolling against the Ducks, who have lost three in a row and played last night in Toronto.
