Hart was pulled after allowing three goals on 10 shots in the Flyers loss in Carolina on Monday. With Michal Neuvirth out (again), the Flyers turn to Hart as their No.1 netminder just five games into his NHL career. The 20-year-old is 2-1-0 with a 2.36 GAA and .904 SV% in his first three starts on home-ice.

Eichel was listed as questionable for Monday’s game but ended up playing before leaving after just 2:42 TOI. The Sabres want to be cautious with their star centre, so they will scratch him on Thursday and re-evaluate him early next week.

Hill gave up four goals on 41 shots in the Coyotes win in Anaheim last Saturday. Hill had a ridiculous stretch of games to start his NHL career but his game has fallen off as of late. Hill has allowed at least three goals in six straight games, giving up a total of 21 goals on 186 shots (.887 SV%). He just isn’t experienced enough to trust from a fantasy perspective, especially against Connor McDavid.

Eichel missed Sunday’s practice and is questionable for Monday’s game against the Islanders. C.J. Smith was recalled this morning and will replace Eichel if he is unavailable.

Pietrangelo has missed the last 11 games with a hand injury but will play Saturday vs. the Penguins. Pietrangelo, who has four goals and seven assists (11 points) in 24 games, will be on the top pair and top power-play in his return.

Hill allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Coyotes loss in Carolina last Sunday. Hill had a fantastic run as the Coyotes’ starter but has fallen back to earth in his last four starts. Hill has given up a combined 13 goals on 117 shots (.889 SV%). Tonight he faces an Avalanche team that has lost seven of their last 11 (4-5-2) and come in on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Hart stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Flyers win over the Predators on Thursday. Hart was called-up to be the Flyers saviour and so far so good for the 20-year-old netminder. Hart has stopped 51 of the first 54 shots (.944 SV%) that he has faced. He will look to stay hot his afternoon vs. a Blue Jackets team that is 9-5-1 on the road.

Hill was sent down on Wednesday in a “paper move” prior to the NHL’s roster freeze. There’s no word whether or not Hill will start on Thursday.

Sissons was forced to leave Tuesday’s game with an undisclosed injury and will not play Thursday in Philadelphia. Tyler Gaudet has been called up from Milwaukee (AHL) and is expected to replace Sissons in the lineup.

Hart allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Flyers win over the Red Wings in his NHL debut. It was a nice start to his career and Hart will likely continue to start as long as he is playing well. Hart appears to be the Flyers last resort and the 20-year-old draws a tough matchup tonight with the Predators in town—Nashville is 22-11-2 and are averaging 3.06 goals for per game (tied for 12th).

The Coyotes were carrying three goalies but sent Hill to the AHL before the roster freeze so that he can play before the Christmas break. Hill was excellent during his call-up, going 5-3-0 with a 1.97 GAA and .926 SV% in nine games. He returns to the AHL where he is 4-1-0 with a 3.22 GAA and .871 SV%.

Hart will be a sixth goalie to dress for the Flyers this season and will be leaned on to save their season. The 20-year-old was a second-round pick in 2016 and is viewed as one of the NHL’s top goaltending prospects. Hart was 9-5-1 with a 3.05 GAA and .901 SV% in his first 17 professional games with Lehigh Valley (AHL) but was impressive in his last five games, going 4-1-0 with a 1.82 GAA and .939 SV%.

Hart is one of the top goaltending prospects in the NHL and his time has arrived earlier than expected. With Brian Elliott and Anthony Stolarz on IR, Michal Neuvirth and Alex Lyon playing terribly, Hart is going to get a chance. Hart has played better as of late but his AHL numbers aren’t great—9-5-1, 3.05 GAA and .901 SV%. Expect him to make his NHL debut vs. Detroit on Tuesday.
