Sourdif has been recalled from the Charlotte Checkers (AHL).

Sourdif was a third-round pick, 87th overall, of the Panthers in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old has yet to play an NHL game this season after making his debut in 2023-24, playing three games with the Panthers. He has 22 points (11G / 11A) in 29 games with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) this season.

Lindgren will start in Philadelphia on Thursday.

Logan Thompson started the previous two games for the Capitals (1-0-1), but the team will revert to Lindgren between the pipes on Thursday against the Philadelphia Flyers. Lindgren struggled in his most recent outing, allowing five goals on 34 shots (.853 SV%) in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators. He has a 2.61 GAA and .901 SV% through 24 appearances this season (11-9-3). The Capitals enter the action on Thursday as -156 road favorites against a Flyers club that has been shut out in three of their last four games (0-3-1).

Thompson will start vs. Florida on Tuesday.

Thompson and the Capitals are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets, the first time Thompson has allowed five goals since the second game of the season. Last game aside, Thompson has been tremendous between the pipes lately, posting a stellar .942 SV% in his previous nine games (7-0-2), and will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers. Washington enters the action on Tuesday as +105 home underdogs against a Florida team outscoring their opposition 14-4 during a three-game winning streak.

The Capitals will turn to Lindgren between the pipes for the 24th time this season when they travel to Ottawa on Thursday. Lindgren took an unfortunate loss his last time out, allowing two goals on 25 shots in a 2-1 loss in Vancouver on Saturday. He owns an 11-9-2 record and a .904 SV% on the season. Lindgren and the Capitals enter action on Thursday at -110 on the money line.

Thompson has been impeccable in his first season with the Capitals, among the NHL's best netminders, earning himself a lucrative six-year contract extension of $35.1 million. The undrafted 27-year-old goalie posted a solid 2.67 GAA and .912 SV% in his first four seasons with the Vegas Golden Knights (56-32-11) but has been otherworldly this season with the Capitals, boasting an outstanding 2.09 GAA and .925 SV% in 26 games (22-2-3).

Fresh off of signing a six-year, $35.1 million contract extension ($5.85 million AAV) on Monday, Thompson will be between the pipes on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames. Thompson has been impeccable in his first season with the Capitals, boasting an outstanding 2.09 GAA and .925 SV% in 26 games (22-2-3). He has two shutouts and an absurd .969 SV% in his last five games (5-0-0). Washington enters Tuesday's contest as -137 road favorites against a Calgary team that has won three of their last four (3-1-0).
