Lindgren will likely start Tuesday in Carolina.

Carey Price has started seven straight games but has given up 11 goals in his last two games, so Lindgren will make his season debut in Carolina. The 26-year-old netminder was 7-6-2 with a 2.67 GAA and .893 SV% in 16 AHL games before being called up. He has previously suited up in 18 NHL games, going 8-8-2 with a 2.89 GAA and .912 SV%.

Wilson (lower-body) was a full participant in Monday's practice; likely to play on Tuesday.

Wilson was a late-scratch in Carolina on Saturday but was back on the top line in Monday's practice and should play against the Islanders on Tuesday. Wilson has been stuffing categories lately, posting six points (1G / 5A) with 10 shots and 32 PIMS in his last seven games.

The Blue Jackets have recalled Gabriel Carlsson from Cleveland (AHL).

Carlsson has scored one goal with eight assists (nine points) in 28 games with the Monsters this season. The former first-round pick (No.29 overall in 2015)has appeared in 17 career NHL games to-date and gets his first call-up of the season with Andrew Peeke (broken finger) going on IR.

Milano (upper-body) will not play on Monday.

Milano was hurt early in Saturday's game in Ottawa. He stumbled along the side-boards and it resulted in him taking an ugly hit from Mark Borowiecki. The Blue Jackets' medical staff had to help Milano off of the ice and it looks as if he could miss some time. Marko Dano was called up on Sunday and will replace Dano in the lineup on Monday.

Strome (concussion) will return to the Blackhawks lineup on Thursday.

Strome has missed the last four games with a concussion but will play Thursday in Boston. Strome will be back on the second-line with Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane and re-enters the lineup with 17 points (5G / 12A) in 23 games.

Dylan Strome
Strome (concussion) skated this morning but will not play vs. the Blues.

Strome is feeling better but will miss his fourth consecutive game with concussion symptoms. With Strome still out, Andrew Shaw now listed on the injury report, and no cap space to call anyone up, Chicago will have to play with just 11 forwards and six defensemen on Monday.

Backstrom (upper-body) will not play on Saturday.

Backstrom remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury, so Lars Eller will remain the second-line centre for at least one more game. After Saturday the Capitals are off until Wednesday, so Backstrom has a few days to get back to 100 percent before they face the Panthers.
