Carlson was on the ice for the Capitals’ morning skate, but will miss his fourth straight game with a lower-body injury. The Capitals have a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday, so monitor his status prior to tomorrow’s game vs. the Sharks.

Carlson missed Monday’s game in Pittsburgh, but was expected to play on Thursday. Because he was unable to practice this morning, he is now listed as questionable and it seems like a more likely return date is Saturday in Dallas.

van Riemsdyk has been out since October 21st and has only appeared in two games this season. TVR has 15 points (3G / 12A) in 102 career NHL games and is expected to replace Michal Rozsival in the lineup vs. Philadelphia.

Milano failed to record a point in two games during his call-up. His return to Cleveland, where he has one goal in four games, suggests that Brandon Dubinsky will be back in the lineup on Saturday.
