Mike Smith will start Tuesday vs. Vegas but Skinner will likely start Wednesday with Mikko Koskinen landing in COVID-19 protocol. Skinner has gone 8-0-2 with a 1.97 GAA and .928 SV% in 10 AHL games and 5-6-0 with a 2.85 GAA and .908 SV% in 12 NHL games this season.

Ferraro missed just one game after taking a puck to the face in Florida on Saturday. Ferraro should be back on the top pairing with Brent Burns and comes in with 11 points (2G / 9A) in 41 games.

Ferraro took a puck to the face on Saturday and had to get some dental work done, so he will not play on Sunday. Ryan Merkley will re-enter the lineup to replace Ferraro, who is considered day-to-day.

Toews was hurt in the third period of Wednesday's win in Detroit on a hit from Joe Veleno. Toews was in concussion protocol and not on the ice for Friday's morning skate, so don't expect him to play vs. the Avalanche.

Samberg was playing well through his first six career games but is expected to miss multiple weeks with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Tuesday. Expect Jonathan Kovacevic to make his NHL debut in Samberg's spot.

DeMelo missed Sunday's game in Pittsburgh and was placed on IR ahead of Tuesday's game vs. the Panthers. The Jets used the roster spot to call up Ville Heinola from the taxi squad.

Morrissey will not be available for Tuesday's game vs. the Panthers, so Ville Heinola has been promoted to the active roster and should replace him.
