Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Jets loss to the Sharks on Tuesday. The loss snapped a three-game personal winning streak for Hellebuyck, who faces the Canadiens for the first time this season on Thursday. The 25-year-old is 9-8-0 with a 2.91 GAA and .911 SV% on the road this season.
Morrissey (lower-body) is day-to-day and will not play on Thursday.
Morrissey will miss Thursday’s game but head coach Paul Maurice said that his is likely to return to the lineup on Saturday. Luckily for the Jets, they will be getting Dustin Byfuglien back tonight.

Hellebuyck gave up three goals on 29 shots in the Jets win over the Ducks on Saturday. Hellebuyck has won three in a row despite giving up three goals in all three games, posting a .909 SV%. He made 41 saves on 44 shots in a 5-3 win in his first start against the Sharks (Dec.20).
The Hurricanes have recalled Haydn Fleury from Charlotte (AHL).
The Hurricanes start a five-game road-trip in Pittsburgh on Tuesday so Fleury has been recalled to serve as an extra defenseman. Fleury has one assist in 12 games with the Hurricanes and four points (1G / 3A) in 15 AHL games.

Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Jets win over the Blue Jackets on Thursday. Since returning from the break, Hellebuyck has gone 2-0-0 while allowing a combined six goals on 70 shots (.914 SV%). It hasn’t always been pretty but the wins continue to pile up for Hellebuyck, who is now tied for second in the NHL with 23 despite being tied for 21st in SV% (.910) and 24th in GAA (2.85).

Hellebuyck is 4-3-0 with a 2.71 GAA and .917 SV% through seven starts in January and tonight he faces a Bruins team that has won seven of their last 11 (7-3-1). The 25-year-old has gone 8-8-0 with a 2.92 GAA and .910 SV% on the road this season.
The Golden Knights have activated Colin Miller (undisclosed) from IR; expected to play on Saturday.
Miller has missed the last 13 games but is expected to play Saturday vs. the Penguins. Miller has had a solid season on the Golden Knights’ blue line, picking up two goals and 15 assists (17 points) in 36 games.

Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Jets win over the Ducks on Sunday. Laurent Brossoit started vs. the Red Wings to get Hellebuyck a few extra days of rest before a big game in Nashville. The 25-year-old allowed three goals on 30 shots in a 3-0 loss in his first start vs. the Predators this season.
The Canucks acquired Luke Schenn and a 2019 seventh-round pick from the Ducks for Michael Del Zotto.
Schenn has appeared in just eight games with the Ducks this season and heads to Vancouver where he will likely serve as an extra defenseman.
Pionk will be out until after the All-Star break with a lower-body injury.
Pionk suffered a lower-body injury in Columbus on Sunday and will be out until after the NHL All-Star break. The Rangers will be without both Pionk and Frederik Claesson for at least a few weeks, so look for Tony DeAngelo and Brendan Smith to remain in the lineup.
Pionk (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Sunday.
