– I expect to get some guff for Toronto being today’s Gold pick, but it is what it is. The fact that the Lightning aren’t -125 favorites is also a bit of a warning in itself. The books know to expect heavy public action on the Lightning and yet they’ve set them as a slight dog–are they being stupid? Doubt it. They didn’t build a city in the desert by being stupid.

– I’ll take SJS +120 today. Travel and short rest ought to take some pep out of the Blackhawks’ step.
