The Cheat Sheet: March 16th, 2011

Gather around hockey fans and devoted gamblers, it’s time for our daily meeting before we go off and make some potentially regrettable decisions with our money. Today on the docket: 4 games, sorted into Gold picks, Silver Picks, Bronze Picks, and black lumps of coal.

Let’s see how today’s numbers break down, using the trusty database-recall system.

Wednesday’s Sheet:

– Washington vs. Detroit is gonna be interesting. The Caps are on a tear, and it’s tough to go against them right now.

– I think this might be the first time that I’ve ever seen a +290 underdog (Colorado) in the NHL. I can’t take either side of this bet though.

– My play of the day is STL/ANA Over 5.5. Their head-to-head history is ridiculous, and recent trends look good.

Agree with the Gold pick? Disagree with it? See a betting line on the board that seems wrong? You know what to do (fill up the comment section).
