Trocheck Set to Return on Saturday

Florida Panthers forward @Vincent Trocheck is expected to return on Saturday against the Islanders. Trocheck missed the last seven games with a lower-body injury. Panthers head coach Joel Quenneville said Trocheck “looked good” at Friday’s practice, and reiterated the team expects him to play tomorrow. Trocheck has one goal and five assists in eight games this season. The team posted an impressive 4-1-2 record in his absence.

Lineup Implications

Trocheck is expected to re-assume his spot as the team’s second-line centre. He skated between wingers @Mike Hoffman and @Brett Connolly at practice on Friday. Trocheck also figures to see some power-play time with the second unit. @Brian Boyle had been acting as the interim second-line centre in Trocheck’s absence. Boyle will now drop down to centre @Dryden Hunt and @Colton Sceviour on line four. @Denis Malgin will remain the third-line centre for @Frank Vatrano and the forward/defenseman hybrid, @Mark Pysyk. Saturday’s puck drop is scheduled for 1:00 PM EST on Long Island.
