All of the people doubting the Wings’ ability to reproduce their goal totals from last season will get louder now as the Wings are forced to play without top-liner Johan Franzen for four months. Franzen suffered an ACL tear in his left knee in yesterday’s 3-2 win against Chicago. It’s a tough deal for Detroit and it’ll be interesting to see who gets the opportunity to step up and take a more prominent role in the offense. Adjust your fantasy lineups accordingly. On a positive note, F Darren Helm is set to return soon from his AC sprain suffered in the preseason.
