Zetterberg, Wings Slowed by Groin Pains

Four Red Wings forwards did not accompany the team to New York for their exhibition game against the Rangers on Monday.  Henrik Zetterberg, Todd Betuzzi, and Dan Cleary, which is what coach Mike Babcock plans on being the Wings second line, along with winger Jason Williams all missed the trip due to nagging groin injuries.  Bertuzzi and Williams both skated with the team Monday morning, but Cleary and Zetterberg did not.  Babcock hopes to have all of them play in one or two of the Wings three preseason games this weekend.  Zetterberg expects to ready for at least one.  These may not be major injuries, but definitely something to keep an eye on as the season moves forward, especially with Zetterberg.

UPDATE: Both Bertuzzi and Williams will play tonight vs. Philly.
