Zubrus took part in the morning skate, but says the strength in his leg is not where it needs to be so he will sit for a second straight game. He is listed as day-to-day.

Zubrus was cut in Monday’s game vs. the Hurricanes. With Zubrus out, the Devils have recalled Reid Boucher from Albany and he will make his fourth appearance of the season. Zubrus is day-to-day.

Comeau had 16 points (5G / 11A) in 61 games with the Blue Jackets. He is not fantasy relevant, but will help solidify the Penguins forward depth.

Comeau crunched Smith into the corner boards from behind when Smith went to retrieve the puck. Comeau was given a double-minor on the play, but stayed in the game. He is eligible to return on Tuesday vs. the Hurricanes.

Blue Jackets' head coach Todd Richards did not no the nature or severity of Comeau's injury after practice. The injury occurred when he missed check and went hard into boards. He had been pencilled into tonight's lineup, but it appears that he will not play now.

Zubrus did not play in final 4 and a half minutes of Saturday's game so he is dealing with some type of injury. Consider Zubrus questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Senators.

Comeau was acquired at the deadline from Calgary. He is a former 20 goal scorer but he won't be relevant while he is on the fourth line.

Comeau is a hard-working 27-year-old checking-line forward. With the Blue Jackets trading away multiple players to get Marian Gaborik, they needed to add some NHL capable bodies. He scored 24 goals in 2010-11 so he has the ability to score but as of right now he is not fantasy relevant.

Zubrus (wrist) has only appeared in nine games this season. He has been out for over a month and this is the first time he has skated with the team since getting hurt. Zubrus would help the Devils because of Ilya Kovalchuk's injury but he is not a good fantasy option.

This eliminates what little fantasy value Zubrus still had. If you have him... Drop him.

There is no timetable for Zubrus' return. At this point in his career Zubrus isn't a great fantasy option when healthy.

Zubrus moves down to the third line to spell Ponikarovsky. The versatile winger has 15 goals and 36 points through 63 games.
