Mikael Samuelsson News

Samuelsson and Goc no longer in no-touch jerseys at #FlaPanthers practice, back in normal sweaters. Both on a line with Bradley.

Either all three forward are scratched (unlikely) or Samuelsson is ready to play against the Rangers tomorrow night. He has three assists in his first six games with the Panthers.

Stephen Weiss and Mikael Samuelsson practiced before the Panthers workout in Coral Springs today and, as Dale Tallon alluded to, both could be back either this weekend or for the game in New York after the New Years.

Expect Samuelsson to add some depth to the Panthers' forward corps. The former Canuck has three assists through his first six games and should be used on the power play moving forward.

Samuelsson skated with the team in the first part of practice and will make the trip. Panthers coach Kevin Dineen said he will participate in pre-skate tomorrow and will be a game-time decision.

Samuelsson is a game-time decision but most likely to miss another game. When he draws in he will be making his Panthers debut.
