Calgary Flames announced the signing of camp invitees Trurner Elson and James Martin yesterday.
The 19-year-old probably returns to Juniors for at least one more season. Elson scored 16 goals and 31 points last season with the Red Deer Rebels but is known more for his physical play. Look for him to take at least one year to make the AHL.
