Stillman was signed by the Hurricanes in the offseason but has yet to play a game in the 2024-25 season. His last NHL game was in the 2022-23 season as a member of the Buffalo Sabres when he had three points (1G / 2A) in 18 games. He has five points (2G / 3A) in 15 games with the Chicago Wolves (AHL) this season.

Richard was a fourth-round pick of the Nashville Predators in the 2015 NHL draft but has been limited to only 31 career NHL games, scoring 14 points (6G / 8A). Primarily an AHL player, the 28-year-old Richard has 19 points (8G / 11A) in 18 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) this season.

Kolosov started the 2024-25 season in the AHL, posting a 3.29 GAA and .875 SV% in four games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (1-2-1), but has been in the NHL the past few months. He has a 3.45 GAA and .870 SV% in 15 games with the Flyers (4-8-1).

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Panthers will turn to Knight between the pipes on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Kings. Knight was excellent in his most recent outing, saving all 34 shots he faced in a 3-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks for his second shutout of the season. He has a 2.45 GAA and .905 SV% in 18 appearances this season (9-6-1). The Panthers enter Wednesday's contest as slight +102 road underdogs against the Kings.

Rakell has been one of the most productive scorers for the Penguins lately but did not play on Monday against the Los Angeles Kings due to personal reasons. The 31-year-old forward has 40 points (23G / 17A) in 48 games this season, including 28 points (16G / 12A) in his last 25. He is poised to flirt with his career-high 69-point total (34G / 35A) from the 2017-18 season with the Anaheim Ducks.

The Kings have been outscored 9-3 in their last two games (0-2-0) and will likely turn to Kuemper between the pipes on Wednesday against the Florida Panthers. Kuemper struggled in his most recent outing, allowing three goals on 21 shots (.857 SV%) in a 4-2 loss to the Seattle Kraken, but has been excellent most of the season. The 34-year-old netminder has a stellar 2.10 GAA and .920 SV% in 23 games this season (13-4-5). The Kings enter Wednesday's contest as -113 home favorites against a Panthers squad that defeated that defeated the Anaheim Ducks 5-2 last night.

The Jets have been outscored 8-3 in their last two games (0-2-0) and will likely turn to Hellebuyck between the pipes when they attempt to return to the win column on Wednesday against the Colorado Avalanche. Hellebuyck struggled in his most recent outing, allowing four goals on 27 shots (.852 SV%) but remains the leading candidate for the Vezina trophy, boasting a 2.02 GAA and .927 SV% in 37 games (28-7-2). The Jets enter Wednesday's contest as +107 road underdogs against an Avalanche squad they defeated 3-0 on January 11th.

Arturs Silovs served as Thatcher Demko's backup in Vancouver's most recent game as Lankinen was out with an illness. Lankinen has a 2.63 GAA and .903 SV% in 30 games this season (16-8-6) and has continued to be busy between the pipes since Demko returned from an injury.

Appleton has not played since December 28th but could return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Colorado Avalanche. The 29-year-old Appleton is averaging 14:46 time-on-ice and has 15 points (6G / 9A) in 37 games this season.

With Jared Spurgeon poised to return from a lower-body injury, Minnesota has reassigned Jiricek to the Iowa Wild (AHL). The 21-year-old Jiricek averaged 13:02 time-on-ice, scoring two points (1G / 1A), in six games with Minnesota.

Sturm missed three games earlier this month with a lower-body injury, returned to the lineup for five games, and is once again sidelined. He is not eligible to return to the lineup until, at earliest, January 27th against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Crozier made his season debut last week and recorded zero points in three games with Tampa Bay. The 24-year-old defenseman returns to the AHL, where he has nine points (3G / 6A) in 22 games with the Syracuse Crunch.

Silovs was recalled under emergency conditions on Tuesday but will return to the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) on Wednesday. The 23-year-old Silovs has split time between the NHL and AHL this season but has been more successful in Abbotsford, posting a 2.53 GAA and .906 SV% in eight games (5-3-0).

Lowry exited Monday's 5-2 loss to the Utah Hockey Club after only 5:18 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old Lowry is averaging 15:24 time-on-ice and was pacing to surpass his 36-point career-high from the 2022-23 season. He has 26 points (11G / 15A) in 26 games this season.

With Haydn Fleury returning from a lower-body injury, Miller will be the odd man out of the lineup to accommodate his return. The 32-year-old Miller is averaging 14:03 time-on-ice and has nine points (2G / 7A) in 36 games this season.
