Reimer will start on Sunday in Vegas.

Reimer was claimed off waivers from Buffalo a week ago and will make his Ducks' debut on Sunday in Vegas. The 36-year-old is entering his 15th NHL season with his sixth different team. He had an 11-8-2 record with a .904 SV% and a 3.11 GAA in 25 games played in Detroit last season. He heads to Vegas to take on the undefeated Golden Knights (2-0-0), whose offence is hot, having scored 12 goals in their first six periods of hockey.

Stecher will make his season debut on Sunday vs. Calgary.

Stecher was a healthy scratch for Edmonton's first two games of the season but will make his debut on Sunday as he replaces Ty Emberson in the lineup. The 30-year-old defensemen was acquired at last year's trade deadline from Arizona, but only appeared in seven games for the OIlers, picking up two assists and a +4 plus/minus.

Emberson will be a healthy scratch on Sunday vs. Calgary.

Emberson will find himself in the pressbox on Sunday vs. Calgary after just two games as he is replaced by Troy Stetcher in the Oiler's lineup. The 24-year-old's first two games in Edmonton have not gone as planned as the defensemen is without a point and has a -4 plus/minus while averaging 17:27 TOI/GP.

Ty Emberson
Barrie will make his Flames' debut on Sunday in Edmonton.

Barrie did not appear in any of the Flames opening two wins to start the season but will make his debut on Sunday against his old squad in Edmonton. The 33-year-old defenseman signed a one-year, $1.25 million contract after a successful PTO stint in training camp. He had a goal, 15 points and 16 PIMs in 41 games with Nashville in 2023-24.

Tyson Barrie
Bean will be a healthy scratch on Sunday in Edmonton.

Bean had two assists through Calgary's first two games but surprisngly will head to the press box as a healthy scratch for Tyson Barrie on Sunday in Edmonton. Bean signed a one-year, two-way contract in the offseason after three seasons in Calgary.

Jake Bean
Dunn (upper-body) is out on Sunday in Dallas.

Dunn is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and will not play on Sunday as the Kraken head to Dallas. Seattle will be without their top offensive defensemen who have started the year with a goal and two points through the first two games while averaging 21:22 TOI/GP. Josh Mahura will make his debut in Dunn's absence on Sunday.

Grubauer will start on Sunday in Dallas.

With Seattle on the backend of a back-to-back after a 5-4 win in Minnesota on Saturday, Philipp Grubauer will make his second start of the season in Dallas on Sunday. The 32-year-old German netminder struggled in his opening night start with St. Louis, allowing three goals on 25 shots (.880 SV%) in a losing effort. He takes on the undefeated Dallas Stars (2-0-0), who are also playing on a back-to-back after beating the Islanders 3-0 on Saturday.

Vladar will start on Sunday in Edmonton.

Coming off a 6-3 victory vs. Philadelphia on Saturday with Dustin Wolf occupying the crease, Calgary will turn to their other netminder Daniel Vladar on Sunday in Edmonton. The 27-year-old picked up a victory in his first start of the season despite a very average showing (5 GA - .792 SV%) and will look to keep Calgary's undefeated start to the season alive (2-0-0). They head to Edmonton to take on the Oilers, who have struggled mightily out of the gate with their 0-2-0 record and 11 goals against.

Hellebuyck will start on Sunday.

As expected, Connor Hellebuyck will take the crease for Winnipeg's third game of the season on Sunday vs. Minnesota. The 31-year-old reigning Vezina Trophy winner has looked in peak form to start the season, with his 2-0-0 record, 0.50 GAA, .928 SV% and one shutout. He will host the Minnesota Wild on Sunday, who is coming off a 5-4 loss to Seattle on Saturday.

Gustavsson will start on Sunday in Winnipeg.

Gustavsson won his first start of the season vs. Columbus after stopping 31 of 33 shots against (.939 SV%) and will have a chance to go 2-0-0 on Sunday in Winnipeg. The 26-year-old is in his third season with the Wild and will be splitting time with both Marc-Andre Fleury and Jesper Wallstedt this season. He will head to Winnipeg to take on the undefeated Jets (2-0-0), who beat Chicago 2-1 on home ice on Friday.

Chisholm (illness) will make his season debut on Sunday in Winnipeg.

Chisholm missed the Wilds' first two games to begin the season due to illness but will make his debut on Sunday in Winnipeg as he replaces the injured Jared Spurgeon (lower body). The 24-year-old defensemen appeared in 29 games in 2023-24 and had three goals, eight points and 18 PIMs while averaging only 16:52 TOI/GP.

Ohgren will make his season debut on Sunday in Winnipeg.

With Joel Eriksson Ek (broken nose) not travelling on Sunday, Liam Ohgren will make his season debut vs. Winnipeg. The 20-year-old left-winger made his NHL debut last season but only appeared in four games, picking up a goal and an assist while averaging 14:31 TOI/GP.

After missing 66 games in 2023-24 due to injury, Jared Spurgeon will unfortunately miss game three of the season with a lower-body injury on Sunday. The 34-year-old will be replaced by Declan Chisholm (illness) in the lineup. Minnesota is expected to provide further updates on the injury later.
