Kovalenko is expected to draw back into San Jose's lineup on Thursday vs. Carolina.

Kovalenko did not play in San Jose's 5-1 loss to the Washington Capitals but will draw back into the lineup on Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 25-year-old Kovalenko has just two goals and seven assists (nine points) in 21 games since joining the Sharks.

Theodore (upper-body) was a full contact participant in Vegas' practice on Wednesday.

A day after returning to practice in a non-contact jersey, Theodore has already ramped up his workload, practicing as a full-contact participant on Wednesday. Before his injury, the 29-year-old Theodore was pacing for a career-best season, with 48 points (7G / 41A) in 55 games. His previous career-high was 52 points (14G / 38A) in 78 games in the 2021-22 season.

Manson (upper-body) is expected to remain out for 3-4 weeks.

Manson has missed several stints due to injuries this season, limited to only 48 games, and will likely miss another three-to-four weeks due to an upper-body ailment. The 33-year-old defenseman is averaging 18:02 time-on-ice, recording 15 points (1G / 14A), 59 blocks, and 105 hits this season.

He has allowed two or fewer goals in six of his last 11 games (8-2-1), posting a .920 SV%. Colorado enters Wednesday's contest as -114 road favorites against a Maple Leafs squad they defeated 7-4 on March 8th.
