Matthews has missed the last two games with an undisclosed ailment but took part in Saturday's morning skate and could return to the lineup for Game 7. According to head coach Sheldon Keefe, Matthews is "progressing," but there's been "no determination" on whether he will play in Game 7.

DeAngelo suffered a wrist injury in Game 5 vs. the Islanders, but X-rays came back negative, and he's expected to play in Game 1. DeAngelo will likely remain in the lineup until Brett Pesce returns from his lower-body injury, which could happen at some point in Round 2.

Pesce recently removed his walking boot but his status for Round 2 is still uncertain. Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said the team remains hopeful that he'll play at some point vs. the Rangers. Look for Tony DeAngelo to remain his replacement in Game 1.
