Jaret Anderson-Dolan has been loaned to the Ontario Reign (AHL).

Anderson-Dolan has been a healthy scratch for the Kings' previous four games and was assigned to Ontario (AHL) on Wednesday after failing to pick up a point in only one appearance so far in 2023-24. The 24-year-old forward returns to Ontario (AHL) for the first time this season where he last appeared in 2021-22 and had 24 goals, 47 points, and 51 PIMs in 54 games played.

Jaret Anderson-Dolan
Yegor Chinakhov (back) has been activated off the injured/Non-Roster list and was loaned to Cleveland (AHL).

Chinakhov had yet to appear this season for Columbus after missing most of training camp with a back injury but has been activated off the injured/Non-roster list and was loaned to Cleveland (AHL). The 22-year-old was Columbus' 2020 first-round pick (21st overall) and had four goals, nine assists, 44 SOG, 10 PIMs, and a -6 plus/minus.

Yegor Chinakhov
Alexander Barabanov (upper body) will miss Thursday's game vs. Tampa Bay and be out "a while".

Barabanov left the Sharks' previous game vs. Florida in the third period after just 14:10 TOI due to an upper-body injury and will miss Thursday's game vs. Tampa Bay and will now be forced to miss "a while". The 29-year-old left-winger had surprisingly yet to pick up a point in 2023-24 but had nine SOG, two PIMs, and a -1 plus/minus in six games prior to the injury.

Alexander Barabanov
Patrick Brown has been reassigned to Providence (AHL).

Brown failed to pick up a point in any of the three games he dressed in for the Bruins this season and has been assigned to Providence (AHL) on Wednesday. The 31-year-old veteran is in his eighth NHL season and will head to the AHL for the first time since he captained the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL) in 2020-21.

Patrick Brown
Klim Kostin (undisclosed) is ready to return to the Wings' lineup Thursday if needed.

Kostin has been cleared to play and will likely return to the Red Wings lineup on Thursday after missing the last three games with an undisclosed injury. Kostin has zero points and a -1 plus/minus rating in four games this season. He will likely play on the fourth line alongside Austin Czarnik and Christian Fischer.

Klim Kostin
James Reimer will start Thursday vs. Winnipeg.

Reimer, who has a sparking 1.00 GAA and .963 SV% in two games (2-0-0), will return to the crease for the Red Wings on Thursday and hope to build on his terrific start to the season. This will mark Reimer's second start in the Red Wings' last three games. Albeit a very small sample size, Reimer has outperformed starting goaltender Ville Husso and could be in line for more starts if he can continue shutting the door for the Red Wings. The Red Wings will look to rebound after losing for the first time in six games (5-0-1) against a Winnipeg Jets team that is 3-3-0 to start the season.

James Reimer
Alex Nedeljkovic (lower body) is day-to-day after he left practice early after injuring himself Tuesday vs. Dallas.

Nedeljkovic suffered a lower-body injury in Tuesday's matchup against the Dallas Stars but was able to finish the game. However, he was unable to complete practise with the Penguins on Wednesday. Nedeljkovic allowed four goals on 34 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Stars.

Alex Nedeljkovic
John Ludvig is day-to-day after being diagnosed with a concussion on Wednesday.

In his NHL debut on Tuesday, Ludvig made awkward contact with his head when delivering a hit a Dallas Stars' forward Radek Faksa. In a scary scene afterward, Ludvig spent several minutes with the trainers on the ice, regaining his composure. Last season with the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL, Ludvig had 17 points (3G / 14A) in 54 games.

Boston has signed Jackson Edward to a three-year, entry-level contract ($860,000 AAV).

Edward, the Bruins' seventh-round pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, has signed his first professional contract. In three seasons with the London Knights of the OHL, the 19-year-old defenseman has 37 points (7G / 30A) in 129 games.

Jackson Edward
Brett Pesce (lower body) had surgery and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.

Pesce has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury and will now likely miss anywhere from 2-4 weeks after he underwent surgery Tuesday. His presence will be missed by a Hurricanes team that has struggled defensively to start the season, allowing an average of 4.71 goals per game. Pesce, whose minutes have been replaced primarily by Jalen Chatfield, has two points (1G / 1A) in five games this season.

Brett Pesce
Dmitri Voronkov is expected to make his NHL debut on Thursday vs. Montreal.

Voronkov had an assist, two PIMs, and a -1 plus/minus in four games with Cleveland (AHL) and has been recalled to Columbus amidst the news of Patrik Laine's injury. The 23-year-old forward was the Blue Jackets' 2019 fourth-round pick (114th overall) and is expected to make his NHL debut Thursday vs. Montreal.

Dmitri Voronkov
Robert Hagg has been recalled from San Diego (AHL).

Hagg signed a one-year, $775,000 deal with Anaheim in the offseason and has been recalled from San Deigo (AHL) for the first time this season. The 28-year-old is entering his eighth NHL season with his fifth team after putting up two goals, five assists, 26 PIMs, 40 SOG and a -5 plus/minus in 38 games with Detroit in 2022-23.

Thompson will start against the Flyers on Tuesday.

Thompson will get his third start this season as the Vegas Golden Knights look to continue their season-opening six-game winning streak. In two games (2-0-0), Thompson has posted a 2.00 GAA and .935 SV% behind a Golden Knights defence that currently ranks fourth-best in the league (1.83 GA/GP). The Golden Knights are -198 home favourites against a Philadelphia Flyers team that has outscored opponents 16-13 early this season (3-1-1).

Logan Thompson
Hart will start in Vegas on Tuesday.

Hart will return to the Flyers' crease on Tuesday after getting a night off on Saturday against the Stars courtesy of backup Samuel Ersson. Hart has been outstanding through his first four games of the season, and is the primary reason why the Flyers currently find themselves atop the Metropolitan division. The 25-year-old netminder has registered a .929 SV% and a 2.01 GAA to go along with his 3-1-0 record. He'll face the biggest test of his young season so far in the defending Stanley Cup champion Golden Knights, who have won all six of their games to open the campaign.

Carter Hart
Carcone (undisclosed) will return to the lineup for Tuesday's game in Los Angeles.

Carcone was forced to exit the Coyotes' previous game vs. Anaheim after just six shifts and 4:17 TOI due to an undisclosed injury and was a game-time decision Tuesday after wearing a non-contact jersey in practice Monday. The 27-year-old is in his third NHL season and has a goal, four SOG, four PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through four games thus far in 2023-24.
