Jeremy Swayman will start Tuesday vs. Chicago.

The 24-year-old has split starts this season but has been fantastic when called upon as he is 2-0-0 with a .943 SV% and a 2.02 GAA. He will look to keep the Bruins' perfect record intact as they take on the Chicago Blackhawks, who have lost four of their last five games and are 25th in the NHL in goals per game (2.33).

Jeremy Swayman
Cayden Primeau will start Tuesday vs. New Jersey.

Primeau has yet to appear in any of the Canadiens five games to start the season but will take the crease Tuesday at home vs. New Jersey. The 24-year-old was 0-2-0 with a .852 SV% and a 3.46 GAA in three games played in 2022-23 with Montreal. He draws the tough task of the New Jersey Devils, who won their last game 5-4 in overtime over NYI and are eighth in the NHL in goals for (3.75).

Cayden Primeau
Rasmus Ristolainen (undisclosed) suffered a setback and will be out indefinitely.

Ristolainen has yet to appear in 2023-24 for the Flyers and will now be out indefinitely after he suffered a setback due to an undisclosed injury. The 28-year-old is in the second year of a five-year, $25.5 million contract ($5,100,000 AAV) and had three goals, 17 assists, 86 SOG, 32 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 74 games played in 2022-23.

Rasmus Ristolainen
Logan Thompson will start Tuesday vs. Philadelphia.

Thompson will likely get his third start this season as the Vegas Golden Knights look to continue their season-opening six-game winning streak. In two games (2-0-0), Thompson has posted a 2.00 GAA and .935 SV% behind a Golden Knights defence that currently ranks fourth-best in the league (1.83 GA/GP). The Golden Knights are -198 home favourites against a Philadelphia Flyers team that has outscored opponents 16-13 early this season (3-1-1).

Logan Thompson
Ty Dellandrea will draw back into the Stars' lineup on Tuesday vs. Pittsburgh

Dellandrea will return to the lineup for the Stars as the rotation between him and Sam Steel, who will be a healthy scratch, continues on Tuesday. Dellandrea has one point (0G / 1A) while averaging 12:29 time-on-ice for the Stars this season.

Ty Dellandrea
Sam Steel will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday vs. Pittsburgh.

The 13th forward rotation continues on Tuesday as Sam Steel with be a healthy scratch in favour of Ty Dellandrea. Steel has one point (0G / 1A) and three shots while averaging 11:57 time-on-ice in three games for the Stars this season.

Sam Steel
Igor Shesterkin was the first goalie off the ice at the Rangers' morning skate.

Shesterkin will likely return to the starter's crease on Tuesday after making way for Rangers' backup goalie Jonathan Quick to make his first start of the season on Saturday, a 4-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken. In four games this season, Shesterkin has struggled to find his Vezina-caliber form, posting a 3.14 GAA and .879 SV%. Shesterkin, who has never posted a sub- .916 SV% in any of his previous four NHL seasons, will look to get back on track Tuesday against a Calgary Flames team that has lost four of their last five (1-2-1).

Igor Shesterkin
Pheonix Copley was the first goalie off the ice at the Kings' morning skate.

Copley will likely start his second game of the season and hope to bounce back after a terrible outing in his season debut. Copley allowed five goals on 19 shots in his only game this season, a 6-5 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Pressure will be on for Copley as another poor outing could lead to the Kings eventually giving David Rittich a shot at backup duties. The Kings are -179 home favourites on Tuesday against an Arizona Coyotes team that has been selective offensively (2.40 GF/GP) and stingy defensively (1.80 GA/GP) through five contests (3-2-0).

Pheonix Copley
Nils Hoglander will draw back into the Canucks' lineup Tuesday vs. Nashville.

Hoglander will return to the lineup for his fifth game of the season as Jack Studnicka will be a healthy scratch for the Canucks. In four games, Hoglander has three points (1G / 2A) and two shots while averaging 10:20 time-on-ice per night. He will likely play on the fourth line with Anthony Beauvillier and Sam Lafferty.

Nils Hoglander
Thatcher Demko will start Tuesday vs. Nashville.

Demko will start on Tuesday as he looks for his second win of the season. Although the wins have not been there, Demko has performed admirably in three games (1-2-0), posting a 2.57 GAA and .930 SV%. The Canucks are listed as slight +106 road underdogs as they visit a Nashville Predators team that has won two straight games, outscoring their opposition 9-2.

Thatcher Demko
Marc-Edouard Vlasic will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday vs. Florida.

Vlasic will sit for the second time this season, but his first as a healthy scratch. The 18-year veteran defenseman has zero points, four blocks and a -1 plus/minus rating through four games this season. His absence will allow Thomas Bordeleau to return to the lineup.

Marc-Edouard Vlasic
Thomas Bordeleau will draw back into the Sharks' lineup on Tuesday vs. Florida.

Bordeleau was a healthy scratch for the Sharks' previous contest but will draw back into the lineup as San Jose goes back to the standard 12 forwards/6 defensemen line combos. The 21-year-old centre has a goal, five SOG, two PIMs, and a -2 plus/minus in four games with the Sharks so far in 2022-23. Bordeleau will take Marc-Edouard Vlasic's spot in the Sharks' lineup.

Thomas Bordeleau
Mackenzie Blackwood will start Tuesday vs. Florida.

Blackwood seems to be the early-season coaching favourite as he will start for the Sharks for the fourth time in their last five outings. After a remarkable season debut where he saved 51 of 52 shots in a 2-1 shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche, Blackwood has fallen back to earth with an ugly 5.50 GAA and .855 SV%. The Sharks have yet to win a game this year (0-4-1) and are being outscored by a lopsided 19-7 margin. Expectations will be low for Blackwood and the Sharks tonight as they are +225 road underdogs against the Florida Panthers.

Mackenzie Blackwood
Pavel Buchnevich (upper body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday vs. Winnipeg.

Buchnevich has missed the Blues' previous two contests with an upper body but will be a game-time decision on Tuesday vs. Winnipeg. The 28-year-old forward has missed 27 games due to injury in the last two seasons and will likely be enduring another injury-riddled campaign. He has yet to pick up a point in two games after producing over a point-per-game with 67 points (26G/41A) in 63 games played in 2022-23.

Pavel Buchnevich
A.J. Greer will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. the New York Rangers.

Greer has one assist, six SOG, and four PIMs in six games played so far this season but will be a healthy scratch Tuesday as Calgary takes on the New York Rangers. The 26-year-old left-winger is in his seventh NHL season after he was claimed off waivers from Boston on October 9th, 2023. Greer will be replaced by Dryden Hunt Tuesday, who is making his Calgary debut.

A.J. Greer
Dryden Hunt will make his Calgary debut Tuesday vs. the New York Rangers.

Hunt signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Flames in the offseason and will make his Calgary debut Tuesday as he replaces A.J. Greer in the lineup vs. the New York Rangers. The 27-year-old is entering his seventh NHL season with his sixth different team and has 15 goals and 43 points in 202 career games played. He is expected to draw into the Flames' fourth line for his debut.

Dryden Hunt
Thatcher Demko was the first goalie off the ice at the Canucks' morning skate.

Demko will likely start on Tuesday as he looks for his second win of the season.

Jack Campbell is in the starters' crease at Tuesday's morning skate.

It appears Campbell will start for the third time in four games as the Oilers look for just their second win of the season on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild. After a terrible opening night performance that saw him allow four goals on 16 shots, Campbell has garnered a 2.50 GAA and .934 SV% in his two games since (1-1-0). The Oilers were last year's top offensive team (3.96 GF/GP) but after five games this season are averaging only 2.60 goals per game while being outscored 20-13 (1-3-1). Campbell and the Oilers will hope they can do a better job defensively as they will be without captain Connor McDavid.
