Travis Dermott (undisclosed) will be out indefinetly.

Dermott has an assist, 13 SOG, six PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 10 games played so far this season but will be out indefinetly with an undisclosed injury. The 26-year-old is in his seventh NHL season but missed 71 games in 2022-23 due to injury. Michael Kesselring was recalled from Tucson (AHL) in a corresponding move.

Travis Dermott
Dylan Garand has been recalled from Hartford (AHL).

With the news that both Jonathan Quick and Igor Shesterkin are dealing with injuries Dylan Garand has been recalled from Hartford (AHL) for the first time in his career. The 21-year-old was the Rangers' 2020 fourth-round pick (103rd overall) and was 3-1-1 with a .914 SV% and 2.63 GAA in five games with Hartford prior to his promotion.

Dylan Garand
Connor Mackey has been recalled from Hartford (AHL).

Mackey has been recalled for the second time a week from Hartford (AHL) and will hope to make his Rangers' debut if he finds himself in New York's lineup Thursday vs. Minnesota. The 27-year-old had a goal, an assist, 17 PIMs and a +8 plus/minus through seven games with Hartford and returns to the NHL for his fourth NHL season.

Connor Mackey
Louis Domingue has been recalled from Hartford (AHL).

Igor Shesterkin (undisclosed) is still day-to-day so Louis Domingue has been recalled from Hartford (AHL) and is expected to dress Thursday vs. Minnesota. The 31-year-old may make his first start of the 2023-24 season after Jonathan Quick (upper body) was also announced injured Wednesday. Domingue was recalled from Hartford, where he was 3-1-0 with a .934 SV% and 1.75 GAA.

Louis Domingue
Jonathan Quick is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Jonathan Quick was announced out day-to-day Wednesday out of the blue and will likely miss their game vs. Minnesota Thursday. The 37-year-old veteran has played exceptional in his first season in New York, with his 3-0-1 record, .935 SV% and 1.77 GAA. With Igor Shesterkin (undisclosed) already on the shelf due to injury, the Rangers are now down to a tandom that includes Louis Domingue and Dylan Garand.

Jonathan Quick
Tristan Jarry (undisclosed) is considered day-to-day until the Penguins provide more updates.

Jarry saved all 21 shots he faced before exiting the game late in the second period after Ducks' forward Adam Henrique collided with his head and is considered day-to-day. Hellberg entered the game and saved 11 shots en route to an eventual 2-0 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. If Jarry misses any extended time, expect Hellberg to take on starting duties for the Penguins as Alex Nedeljkovic is also out of the lineup, on long-term injured reserve with a lower-body injury.

Tristan Jarry
Fredrik Olofsson (upper body) was a full participant in Colorado's practice and will return Thursday vs. Seattle.

Ondrej Pavel replaced Olofsson on Tuesday as he dealt with an upper-body injury but has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles, signalling Olofsson will be able to return to action for the Avalanche on Thursday against the Seattle Kraken. Olofsson has one point this season (1G / 0A) playing predominantly on the fourth line with Tomas Tatar and Andrew Cogliano.

Fredrik Olofsson
Minnesota has acquired Zach Bogosian for a 2025 seventh-round pick and is expected to make his Wild debut Thursday.

After trading Calen Addison the the San Jose Sharks earlier in the day, the Wild have acquired veteran defenceman Bogosian from the Tampa Bay Lightning for a seventh-round pick in 2025. Bogosian has zero points and five shots while averaging 11:57 through four games with the Lightning this season and is expected to make his Wild debut Thursday.

Zach Bogosian
Ondrej Pavel has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

Pavel made his NHL debut Tuesday and collected one SOG and a -1 plus/minus in 6:59 TOI Tuesday but has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) Wednesday with the return of Viktor Olofsson. The 23-year-old returns to the Eagles, where he had six PIMs, a +5 plus/minus and zero points in 10 games prior to his original promotion.

Ondrej Pavel
Calvin Pickard has been recalled from Bakersfield (AHL).

Jack Campbell cleared waivers earlier on Wednesday, allowing the Oilers to recall Pickard from the Bakersfield Condors of the AHL. Pickard has not played at the NHL level since a three-game stint with the Detroit Red Wings in the 2021-22 season. The 31-year-old journeyman goaltender has been lights out with the Condors this season, posting a 2.03 GAA and .939 SV% in four games (2-2-0). Stuart Skinner is expected to take priority in the starters crease for the Oilers but after a dreadful 2-8-1 start to the season, the slightest misstep could potentially give Pickard a route to seeing game action.

Calvin Pickard
Adin Hill was the first goalie off the ice at the Golden Knights' morning skate.

Hill is the likely starter for the Golden Knights as they continue their rotation between him and Logan Thompson. Hill put together a tremendous effort in his most recent outing, saving all 41 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season, a 7-0 blowout victory over the Colorado Avalanche. Sunday, with Thompson between the pipes, the Golden Knights suffered their first regulation loss of the season, but Hill will look to continue his undefeated 6-0-1 record. The Golden Knights are -121 home favourites against a Los Angeles Kings team that has collected points in six straight (5-0-1).

Adin Hill
Chandler Stephenson (upper body) is expected to be out Wednesday vs. Los Angeles and will miss the next two games.

Stephenson is expected to miss the next two games as he tends to an upper-body injury. In the Golden Knights' most recent game, Stephenson played 19:12 and was held without a point, registering a -2 plus/minus rating. Jonas Rondbjerg has been recalled from Henderson of the AHL and is expected to suit up for Vegas in his absence.

Chandler Stephenson
Jonas Rondbjerg has been recalled from Henderson (AHL).

With news that Chandler Stephenson is expected to miss the next two games with an upper-body injury, Rondbjerg has been recalled from Henderson (AHL) and will likely play his fourth game of the season for Vegas on Wednesday. Rondbjerg has two points (1G / 1A) with the Golden Knights this season and is expected to skate alongside Brett Howden and Keegan Kolesar.

Jonas Rondbjerg
Cam Talbot is expected to start Wednesday in Vegas.

Talbot will likely start the front end of a back-to-bad for the Kings as they take on their division rivals, the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday. Talbot has been tremendous between the pipes for the Kings and is coming off his first shutout of the season, a 24-save, 5-0 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers. The veteran goalie has helped his team pick up a point in his last five games (4-0-1) while saving an impressive 121 of 128 shots (.945 SV%). However, the Kings will have their work cut out for them as +113 road underdogs against the league-leading Golden Knights.

Cam Talbot
Jack Campbell has cleared waivers and been assigned to Bakersfield (AHL).

Campbell has cleared waivers and been assigned to the Bakersfield Condors of the AHL. After 41 unimpressive games with the Oilers over the past two seasons, Campbell has posted a lacklustre 3.53 GAA and .886 SV%, leading to his placement on waivers on Tuesday. The Oilers, who were largely considered to be Stanley Cup contenders to start the season, are off to a dreadful start, winning only two of their first 11 games (2-8-1). The Oilers will likely recall Calvin Pickard from Bakersfield (AHL) once Campbell clears waivers and will turn to Stuart Skinner for starting duties in the interim.

Jack Campbell
Andreas Johnsson has been placed on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract.

Johnsson is expected to have his contract terminated after being placed on unconditional waivers on Wednesday. The 28-year-old Sweed has had difficulty finding consistency at the NHL level despite showing flashes of high-pedigree play throughout his career. He has 116 points (48 G / 68A) in 259 career games.

Andreas Johnsson
Radek Faksa (upper body) will be a game-time decision in Columbus Thursday after missing the last four games.

Faksa has not played since October 30th but is nearing a return after being a full participant in the Stars' last two practices. Faksa has zero points, averaging 13:24 time-on-ice through seven games this season and will likely assume his spot on the fourth line when he is able to return.

Radek Faksa
Matt Duchene (upper body) will be a game-time decision Thursday in Columbus.

Duchene exited the Stars' Saturday night contest against the Vancouver Canucks late in the second period and did not return, ultimately missing the teams' Monday game against the Boston Bruins. Before his injury, Duchene was in the midst of a five-game point streak, tallying five points (2G / 3A) and seems to be finding his stride with the Stars. He will be a game-time decision on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets and should slot back in alongside Tyler Seguin and Mason Marchment if he is available to play.
