Spencer Martin was the starting goalie for the Hurricanes on Saturday, a 6-4 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, snapping an eight-game winning streak. As such, the Hurricanes will quickly revert to the services of Kochetkov between the pipes on Monday in a contest against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 25-year-old Kochetkov has been solid for the Hurricanes this season, especially establishing himself since the injury to Frederik Andersen (lower body), posting a 2.51 GA and .896 SV% in eight games (7-1-0). The Hurricanes enter the action on Monday as -149 road favorites against a Golden Knights club without Mark Stone for a second straight game.

Stone will miss a second straight game on Monday but could be an option on the Golden Knights' upcoming two-game road trip according to head coach Bruce Cassidy. Before his injury, the 32-year-old Stone was off to a monstrous start to the 2024-25 season, among the league leaders, with 21 points (6G / 15A) in 13 games.

The 30-year-old Mantha scored seven points (4G / 3A) in 13 games in his first season with the Flames.

The Predators snapped a three-game losing skid on Saturday courtesy of a 26-save shutout by Saros, his second of the season, in a 4-0 win over the Utah Hockey Club. The Predators enter Monday's contest as +130 road underdogs against a Colorado Avalanche club coming off an impressive 6-4 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Kuemper has only played one of the previous three games for the Kings but will likely return to the crease on Monday against the Calgary Flames. Putting aside an ugly outing in the third game of the season when Kuemper allowed eight goals on 41 shots (.805 SV%) in an 8-7 loss to the Ottawa Senators, Kuemper has allowed three or fewer goals in all seven games this season (4-1-2), posting a solid .918 SV%. The Kings enter the action on Monday as -133 road favorites against a Calgary Flames club that has scored three or fewer goals in each of their previous 12 games (4-4-4).

Colorado enters Monday's contest as -144 home favorites against a Nashville Predators club in last place in the Central Division (5-9-1).
