Snuggerud finished his third year at the University of Minnesota with 24 goals and 27 assists (51 points) in 40 games. Snuggerud is expected to join the Blues in St. Louis on Monday.

The Hurricanes are coming off a disappointing 3-1 loss to the Nashville Predators and will hope for a better fate with Andersen tending the twine on Friday against the Montreal Canadiens. The 35-year-old Andersen was excellent in his most recent outing, saving 35 of 37 shots (.946 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks. He has a 2.07 GAA and .918 SV% in 16 games this season. The Canucks have won two straight with Thatcher Demko tending the twine, but they will likely turn to Lankinen on Friday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 29-year-old Lankinen had a forgetful night in his previous outing, allowing four goals on 11 shots (.636 SV%) in a 5-3 loss to the New York Rangers. He has a 2.59 GAA and .901 SV% in 46 games this season (24-14-8). The Canucks enter Friday's contest as +114 road underdogs against a Blue Jackets team that is 2-7-1 in their last 10 games.




The Rangers have lost four of their last five (1-4-0) and will turn to Shesterkin between the pipes on Friday against the Anaheim Ducks as they desperately try to stay within reach of a Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. The 29-year-old Shesterkin saved 30 of 32 shots (.938 SV%) in his most recent outing but did not receive ample goal support in a 3-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings. he has a 2.80 GAA and .908 SV% in 54 games this season (24-26-4). The Rangers enter Friday's contest as -157 road favorites against the Ducks.

Holmberg did not play in Toronto's previous two games but he will re-enter the lineup on Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings. The 26-year-old forward is averaging 13:00 time-on-ice and has 15 points (6G / 9A) in 58 games this season.
