With the news that Juuso Valimaki is expected to miss an extended period with an upper-body injury, the Coyotes have opted to recall Kolyachonok from the Tuscon Roadrunners of the AHL. In 11 games with the Roadrunners, Kolyachonok has three points (2G / 1A) and a +5 plus/minus rating. He was the 52nd overall pick of the Florida Panthers in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.

The Coyotes have acquired Vladislav Kolyachonok, Anton Stralman and a 2024 second-round pick from the Panthers for a 2023 seventh-round pick.

Kolyachonok was a second-round pick (No.52 overall) in 2019and split his 2021 campaign between the KHL and AHL. He started the year with Minsk (KHL) and collected six points (1G / 5A) in 46 games before returning to Syracuse (AHL). He had two assists in 10 AHL games and will likely report to the Coyotes AHL affiliate to start the 2021-22 season.
